Pringle Bay (Afrikaans: Pringlebaai) is a small coastal town of ca. 1600 inhabitants in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, in South Africa. It is situated at the foot of Hangklip, on the opposite side of False Bay from Cape Point. The town and surrounds are part of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO Heritage Site. The bay is named after Rear-Admiral Thomas Pringle, of the Royal Navy, who commanded the naval station at the Cape in the late 1790s.

Really pleasant Venue with nice Menu and professional service and great food quality. Unfortunately not open certain days so be sure to confirm when open as other establishments are.

We have always loved the Anchor but with new management come new beginnings. Fresh exciting ideas. Still good food. Service and geselligheid brand new. The only spot in Pringle Bay where you have a good choice of eating outside in the sun or inside in a cozy atmosphere. As locals this is a very positive upgrade to our little town.

We pass by on way to cape town for lunch on Sunday everything was good service great.the only thing that hate when tip waitress they don't get the tip we don't tip boss no tip good service got please don't do that very bad.Dear Guest,Thank you for visiting our restaurant! We are pleased to hear that you had a good experience ...We would like to clarify that all our waitrons work for tips and basic rate per hour as per legal requirements. However, we do deduct 20% of daily tips to distribute to our kitchen staff. They work hard and overall, we are all a team!
