We've been here several times, the most recent just this past weekend. It's a cozy, relaxing place to eat and we especially enjoy sitting by the fireplace. The food is great, especially the prime rib and they serve large portions. Service is friendly and attentive. It's right on the corner in the center of town and there are lots of windows so you can watch the world go by.

They still serve the Oyster Burger even though its no longer on the menu!!! I was so happy with our waitress gave me the good news. Great scenery from their wall of windows. They do try and turn their tables over quickly so your bill may arrive when you’re only half done your meal. This used to be a 4+ for me, but I’d give it a 4- at the current time. Reasonable place for seafood, but it might be the location that is more compelling. Thanks so much for taking the time to give us some feedback about your time at Mo'sI would love to chat with you a little bit more to learn how we can earn that 4+ rating. Please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] and we can talk in more detail. Thanks so much

Stopped in here while touring Haystack Rock and surrounding area. There were 6 in our group, and everyone was more than satisfied with their lunch selections. The chili was very good, as were the burgers and beer selections. Friendly servers and a great local vibe. Would recommend!

We had dinner here on a Monday night. Service was prompt and attentive. Our meals were nicely prepared and portions were just right. The hazelnut crusted halibut was exceptionally good. The cast iron pan baked chicken with chanterelles was good, but not exceptional and a little dry. We will eat here again when in Cannon Beach.

We had a great dinner with superb service. Use the call ahead. It will save time waiting for a table in this small establishment. My husband had 1/2 rack ribs which he loved. I had the veggie burger and it was great. They made their own Italian dressing and if you like this type of dressing you will enjoy theirs.

Although the service was excellent, we were disappointed in the food. The vegetarian option I chose; the spiralized zucchini 'pasta', was bland and uninteresting. For the outrageous price of $32.00, I expected something much more creative, with a variety of unusual vegetables, some flavour and at least some added herbs. My husband's dish was also bland. The chocolate dessert we shared was O.K., but nothing spectacular, as we were hoping for. Nevertheless, we love the hotel and the breakfast is outstanding.

Our innkeepers recommended Castaways to us, and we were glad to have reserved ahead by three days because only two time slots were available for a Wednesday. We were warmly greeted when we arrived 5 minutes early and given a choice of four tables. The main dining room is a breath of fresh air compared to other Cannon Beach restaurants, mainly because of the modern decor and all of the big windows- giving an open and airy feeling in a relaxed space. We settled in with cocktails and were impressed with our attentive and friendly server and with the amount of attention we received from the personable chef/owner who talked with guests at each table more than a couple times throughout our meal. The highlight of our meals were our salads and our dessert. My husband had the special salad: very fresh heirloom tomatoes with bruschetta, perfectly drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. My Tiki salad was excellent as well: crisp greens with goat’s cheese, spiced walnuts, and dried cranberries lightly and perfectly dressed in a balsamic vinaigrette. Our dessert— flambéed bananas with macadamia nuts was made to order- I had the coconut ice cream accompaniment while my coconut-hating husband was able to have vanilla. This dessert is heavenly and worth a special trip to the restaurant !My husband and I both enjoyed our main entrees: I had the on-the-spicy- side Jamaican jerk chicken while my husband had the pork chop special - served under a mustard sauce. There are a variety of entrees and appetizers here, so it would be hard to not find something to enjoy.A great find for us- and pretty easy to find on the north end of town.
