staff is very friendly, and the food is very affordable. we enjoyed the chicken! the huge serving of black beans that comes with entrees was a little on the bland side, as as are some other dishes, but they are hapy to bring you salsa which makes a huge difference!i love the chicken nachos because of the great quality of the chicken. i would prefer more toppings than just chicken and cheese with sour cream and guac... maybe some veg, and definitely beans would be nice! but you just cant beat the price.we have been back a couple of times. the set up is a bit awkward, with the way the counter is placed, how orders are taken, and the items being stored right in the dining area... it takes a long time to get your food if there are just 2-3 customers. but i think they have a good thing going and im hoping they will iron out some of the kinks as time goes on!

Gilberto's is a family run restaurant. The service is friendly. With such friendly service, you need to sometimes overlook the cuisine. On some visits, it is very good. Other times, it can fall a bit short. Their guacamole is always good. The tortilla chips are served warm and are fresh. I have ordered several different entrees on various visits and most are good. I think they need to monitor their kitchen a bit more and make sure the food is consistent. They have a great location and have the foundation to be the best Mexican restaurant in Roseburg. They just need to be a bit more focused.

Good guacamole and good refried beans - 2 tests of a Mexican restaurant, and Los Dos Amigos passed with flying colors. Mexican-style mineral water lemonade, sizzling fajitas, and more made our meal enjoyable. Excellent friendly and efficient service.

We stopped for gas and quick eats on I-5 and did not want to eat at a fast food chain. The gas station has an add-on restaurant with fabulous Mexican plates. We had the chili rellenos plate and also a wet burrito. Both plates were enormous and served with freshly fried chips. Choices of salsa. Such an unexpected treat. Delightful service as well. Fresh, fast and tasty.

Situated on the main street in quaint, downtown Roseburg, this little Mexican restaurant has all of the usual offerings one would expect, plus a few highlights! This is a family business, and it shows - lots of pride in the place and service that lets you know they value your patronage. Their blackened salsa is outstanding, the kind of thing you'll be remembering days later at home and develop an intense craving for . . . perhaps deciding to pick up a to-go container next visit so you can scratch the itch. They also make a delicious chile relleno with the perfect egg-y coating.

My family of four enjoyed eating at Burrito Vaquero. The staff is friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the entire meal from start to finish. The chips were served warm and the salsa was very good. I had a chicken chimichanga and it was delicious. We were just passing through and feel we made an excellent choice for dinner in Roseburg.
