Lumberjack Grill: service was excellent. Food was tasty. Some sides were not available but we we were there late. Beers and ciders were good. Salads were well done, fresh and crispy. Fish and chips plate was good. Steaks were tender and tasty..... but sirloins were a bit over cooked. Very pleasant patio dinner.

Have been here on several occasions. Don't let the Harley's parked outside intimidate you, the place is suited for everyone. My boyfriend and I particularly like the taco salad special on Thursdays. They also have a decent wine selection and have my favorite Pinot Gris at a very price per glass. For good service, good food and drinks at very reasonable prices don't miss this place on your next trip to Mulino or Molalla. It's also conveniently located right on the highway so it's easy to pop in for quick drink.

So this is probably the best choice in Molalla as far food and atmosphere go. That being said, it took me a long time to come to this decision. For the most part, they are always under staffed which makes for a leisurely dining experience whether you want it or not. To be honest for the first year, I had terrible experiences here with really inexperienced servers and long waits and even had an altercation with a waitress who brought me the wrong wine, replaced it and charged me for two glasses even though I only drank one (she doesn't work there anymore and shame on me for continuing to come). That being said, in the past few months the staff has really upped their game and there a couple servers who really know what they are doing (though they are still under staffed). On a positive note, I've never had a bad meal there. The burgers and fries are great! Also, trivia night on Wednesdays is a lot of fun and a lively atmosphere. So, bottom line it's a decent restaurant in a small town that desperately needs a decent place to eat that made some improvements but probably needs to make more.

Had lunch here with my sister. It's quite a step up from the burger, pizza and Mexican establishments that dominate Mollala's dining scene. The décor and menu is more in line with what I would expect in upscale Lake Oswego than Mollala (a logging and farming town). The outdoor seating looked nice but we dined inside due to rain.
