We had a Saturday dinner (Feb16) at La Bussola. Great food, simple, homemade, fresh. Low season at Porto San Stefano, so we were only foreigners among other customers. Local families, couples, friends, - wonderful cozy atmosphere, it seems all people know each other. Very welcoming hosts, smiling, attentive. Highly recommended!

Located in the middle of Giannella coastline, I can say it is the only good beach club in the area: free parking, nice umbrellas and sofas, food and beverage served on the beach, lovely music, marvelous sunset. Price: starting from 60 euros for a beach set (2 people). From 18.00 a lovely aperitivo is served directly on the beach.

We had a folder in our AirBnB with various recommendations including restaurants - we tried a couple, but they were a bit pricey. We therefore chanced a couple ourselves, and discovered this gem.It helped that they spoke good English, but we (two vegetarians and two non-vegetarians) ordered a variety of starters and mains from the menu and specials (not many seemed to have "specials" boards), and they were all fantastic - mostly simple things, but fresh ingredients, well presented and tasty. We also shared a cannoli dessert - yummy! We tried a local bottle of red wine (around Euros 20), and it was so nice we had another one, and it was all very well priced. We're always intrigued how anyone can review restaurants we rate as Excellent as Terrible, so I took a look. Although Google Translate isn't brilliant, two of the recent ones didn't even eat there! That's so unfair! If it hadn't been our last night, we would have returned. We had to wait for ten minutes or so for our table on arrival (it was Saturday night, and we hadn't booked), and we're very glad we did. Throughout our visit, as soon as a table was vacated, someone else took it, so it clearly seems very popular, and needless to say, we recommend it.

This wonderful, family-run restaurant was only 10 minutes from our hotel, Il Pellicano, in Porto Ercole. The dining room is quiet and elegant , service is excellent, menu is compact but everything on the menu is prepared to gourmet standards and the plate presentations are impeccable. Pricing is more than fair, portions are generous, wine list is adequate and very reasonable. We liked it so much we rebooked for the next night. La Vivienda does not appear on a lot of the searches for restaurants near Porto Ercole, and that's a shame because it's so good

We were warmly welcomed and given a free room upgrade when we arrived to stay the one night. We also booked a table at the on sight restaurant. At dinner we were welcomed by the professional maitre d`and knew straight away we were in for a unique meal experience. We were seated immediately and the service got better and better each minute we were there. We put our self in the hands of an experienced sommelier for the wine and we had a taster menu which was excellent. It was wow from beginning to the end. One of the best meal experiences we have ever had.

So glad we happened upon this restaurant solely by chance. Simple pure but authentic menu , nice portion sizes expertly prepared, comfortable warm ambience, and very friendly service. We went back again two nights later and were left feeling much too full but soooo happy. Really great place, priced very fairly - don't Miss it! We will always remember our experience there. Thanks Caccia e Pesca.

Ristorante con specialità siciliane a base di pesce con spazio all'aperto si accettano carte di credito wiff gratuito si accettano prenotazione adatto anche per vegetariani.
Driving through Albinia, it's easy to come across this restaurant, as it's right on the street that you run just coming from the highway.Arrived at 12.30, we were struck not only by the layout a bit bare of the restaurant, by also because the restaurant was empty; then we realized that this was due to the early hour: in fact it was gradually populated. In the large menu, we chose two appetizers and two first courses. The two appetizers, seafood based, were truly remarkable. The first courses were "spaghetti carbonara sea style" (that is, with smoked tuna instead of bacon) and the more traditional spaghetti with clams; and also in this case everything was delicious. We finished with two desserts: a more traditional "cassata" (typical Sicilian sweet: the owner is in fact original from Sicily) and a cake with pistachio cream, absolutely delicious. The bill was fair, considering the seafood menu and the fact that we are in Tuscany: 61,50 ⬠for two persons, including also two coffees, water and a glass of white wine. So, at least as far as the food we tasted, we highly recommend this restaurant.
