We used to go here quite a bit but noticed the quality has been lacking recently. Unfortunately, weâve found another place in town to go for breakfast. Itâs not a bad breakfast place, but thereâs certainly better for around the same price range.

This place is nicely accessible by boat on the Trent system . There is a newer, easy to access dock right beside the place. They have a nice deck and cozy, wood-walled bar room. We chose the deck and had a couple of reuben sandwiches and fried pickles. Decent prices too. This is family owned and they show pride in their work and food.

I opted to order the $25 special with a Large Pizza, 10 wings and 2 liter pop and also got a Panzarotti to go with 4 ingredients. Well,..once again,...it was ALL great,... First time ordering a Panzarotti and will do it again,...it was huge and I just loved it girls. The bbq wings were good and came with a small side of carrots and dip. The pizza was terrific and I was able to change up an ingredient due to allergies. Can't wait to go through town again and get something to take to the cottage to nibble on for a day or two,..can't come soon enough.

A warm delicious welcome awaits the minute you walk into this family run restaurant . The owners Louis and Fanny make you feel like you have just walked into their home. The amazing aromas coming from the kitchen make you want to order everything on the menu. The night I was there fish and chips was the special, fresh pickerel lightly battered with the crispy french fires, homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce...perfect finish to compliment this dish... but wait... dessert homemade fresh baked rhubarb pie, with a filling rich with flavors and a melt in your mouth flaky crust.. I cant wait to get back and try the Prime Rib special...

This place is not what you would expect. My wife I were away for the weekend and yes there is a restaurant at the Delawana Resort but if you want real home cooked food made with pride and love you have to go to Nicolas. We ended up eating there four times over the three days...the food has a fantastic variety and cooked to order. The daily soup will warm your soul as well as feed your hunger. My wife stuck with the the soup and salad for lunch one day but I had the Broast Chicken...OMG...it was so tasty. We went back for pizzas for our group and that all made quick work of it...gone in 60 seconds...one of the trips we had a bottle of wine and I had to have it... Liver, onions and bacon with the roast potatoes. I consider myself a bit of a foodie and this was the best liver and onions I have ever had in my life...I actually said to my wife I would drive the two hours just to have it again...I know so of you may turn up your nose at the thought of having liver but this would make a lover out of you .... Not to mention the chicken slovacy ( don't think I spelt that right) It is that good...please I beg you if you are in the neighborhood please stop by and tell them John and Kim sent you...these are real people willing to cook to make you happy.

The Grill in Port Seven is a regular stop for us on the way to the cottage. It has always been a very good experience however, the last two times have been disappointing. Both the service and food, usually a strong suit, has not been acceptable. Today, for lunch, I had wings and a side Caesar salad. The salad was virtually uneatable, it was swimming in salad dressing and the wings very average. The server asked if I was going to finish the salad I pointed out the issue with the dressing. She said sheâs never seen it like that and took it away. There was no offer to adjust my bill.Hoping that The Grill can return to its former level of service and quality.
