Staying with friends at the local Inn on Lock Seven, we wanted to grab take-out pizza for dinner and spend our evening watching ships pass through the locks from our hotel balconies. Papa Vinceâs had a high rating and it was easy to find downtown. Papa Vinceâs is take-out or delivery only. The space when you step inside is tiny, with room for about 3 people to stand side by side at the counter. My friend and I each ordered a small pizza and wings. I was surprised that they didnât offer salad. This is the 21st century, guys. You need a side salad on the menu. But tonight, dinner would be veggie-free. We left and returned 15 minutes later to give other customers a chance to get inside the tiny space.When we picked up our order, I asked for paper plates. The guy said âYeah, I think we have some.â He thinks? Not everyone ordering pizza eats it at home. If you are delivering to hotel guests you should be delivering paper plates, napkins and plastic utensils too. He gave me plates.Papa Vinceâs pizza sauce was a little bit yummy spicy. Plenty of cheese without having to order âextra.â Crust was nice. Not too thick. Not too thin. Wings were also very good. Better than most. Having tried independent pizza shops nearly everywhere weâve traveled I can say Papa Vinceâs deserves a thumbs up!

Nice little place with some tables for four, clean but not fancy. Owner is a lovely jolly fellow who makes friends easy. He a pleasant Armenian man you will like.We had 1 pc haddock and chips $9.49 and it was all cooked really nice. Shwarma is excellent.We ate in today and it was HOT, NO A/C Working up there in area this week so I will go back for lunch.

The preparers are very skimpy with the ingredients. Some of the ingredients do not appear fresh, i.e. browning lettuce. I will not get a salad or sandwich from this store. Not clean enough and the attitude is poor of the servers.

I've been coming to Shawarma Hut for 5+ years. The owner is very nice and friendly. I have tried chicken shawarma wrap, chicken shawarma plate, beef shawarma plate, and the falafel wrap. I usually get the chicken shawarma wrap and it is amazing. It has shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickled cabbage, hummus, tahini, garlic sauce (I'm addicted to the garlic sauce, it's so good!), pickled radish and pickles. The chicken is prepared fresh and the owner uses a spice blend from his home. I also really enjoy the chicken plate, which is a large quantity of rice topped with the same chicken used for shawarma. Like the wraps, the plate can come in spicy or not spicy. I usually get only garlic sauce for my chicken plate, but my husband enjoys the regular hummus/garlic sauce together with his chicken plate. This is great value shawarma and excellent taste. I have had shawarma in Hamilton, Toronto, and other St. Catharines locations and this is the best tasting one. I will never go anywhere else for Shawarma! I love Shawarma Hut! The owner can also accommodate for vegan customers as well (falafel wrap or plate with no garlic sauce).
