Very close to the VIA Rail station in a quiet part of town, this place is obviously well-established with the 'locals.' I can understand why!Sue and I had an excellent early-morning breakfast here. Inexpensive, friendly service, and a good Canadian breakfast.Highly recommended.

The country has steak is processed and only looks like ham. It tastes like Spam. My steak was overcooked and unseasoned. The soup was very thick and flavorless. It was broccoli cheddar and I had to ask what it was. There was no broccoli in it and no cheddar flavor but lots of flour thickening.We ordered unsweetened tea and our waitress brought hot but she took it back and brought us iced tea. I put in a couple of sweeteners and it was horrendously sweet. She told us it was "homemade" but when we questioned her if it was already sweetened she said it was powered and she said they didn't put any sugar in. I'm just low carb, but, if I'd been diabetic I would probably be in shock right now.Not a good place to go.

We have lunch at Sweet Life frequently. The soups, chilli and sandwiches are fresh and home made and Jenniferâs baking is some of the best in Brockville. Great selection of teas and really good coffee. The location is central with great parking on market street and the restaurant is bright and clean. Prices are extremely reasonable
