Just a gem, the food is always fresh and perfectly prepared but the semi-retired couple who own this restaurant put a level of care into the food that you just don't find very often anymore. My stepmom is from Osaka and she makes terrific Japanese food but this is better and you are made to feel just as much at home when you dine at Sushi Sun.

We enjoyed the chicken and shrimp Pad Thai meal and added a spring roll. They served us tea in a decorative teapot and small cups first, then we had our meal. You could vary the spice level from very mild to hot which accommodated our tastes. The service was very friendly and the food was brought to our table quickly. The meal was tasty and a good sized portion at a reasonable cost. This is a new restaurant in Gannanoque on the Main Street with lots of street parking.

Went there for dinner, the menu looked good, all the regular choices for Chinese food. We ordered a special plate each to get a variety of the food. The main ingredient in all their dishes ( including fried rice ) is sugar. Spare ribs were boney , fatty and meatless.The owners are not friendly and never asked how the food was. I think they learned not to ask.It was our first time eating there. we live in Gananoque and will never go back.Seems like they just want the tourists because they don't care about the food, the quality of the good or the uncaring attitude of the owners.It should not be called Chinese food. Like sh-t on a shingle.TripAdvisor should allow zero stars because this is not worth one star.

We have lunch here today. Some comments:1. Chinese food, chicken legs, eggy fish, soup, ice cream, some vegies.2. Tour bus can park3. Waitress is friendly.4. Tea, soda, water included.5. Crowded with Chinese tourist.
