Service was wonderful. A member of our family has a food allergy. The Manager came to our table for more information and assured us the meal would be prepared with this allergy in mind. We go to Captain George's for supper about once a month. We have never been disappointed. The fish is always done to perfection, very light crispy batter, never greasy. Portion sizes are very generous. The staff is amazing, always fast, friendly and courteous. Definitely the best in town, by far.

We enjoyed our evening out at Capers. It is a cozy, friendly place with excellent service. The menu is not extensive, but there's something for everyone. Caution! The grilled Caesar salad does not refer to chicken on the salad. A Romaine heart is split in two and grilled. I think ours caught on fire. The seared scallops were delicious, but the pairing with pickled ginger was just wrong. Scallops are too mild tasting! The beef medallion was cooked to perfection but they should state that it is sirloin and not tenderloin. Service was excellent. Wine was great. Altogether a good experience.

Felt very welcomed and Taylor was great. There seemed to be more supervisors/staff on than I would have expected, as compared to other establishments nearby...but, we were well taken care of. Great chicken fingers , fajitas, burgers.Thanks Adrian! We are so glad you enjoyed and we can't wait to see you back soon!

Went here with friends for dinner recently. The place has a very quirky atmosphere. Food and service were very good. I had the rib special ($20) and the coconut shrimp appetizer. Both dishes were very good. Nice selection of beers on tap.

I have been an enthusiastic diner at L'Auberge de France for many years. Lunchtime provides an imaginative variety of sandwiches, quiches, salads, soups, frites and delectable desserts. Freezers contain wonders of frozen pies and soups which you can purchase and then pretend that you are a brilliant cook. Once a month Jean-Marc (chef) produces an amazing 3 course "Chef's Table" which always are sold out - with good reason. Saturdays are croissants - plain, chocolate, raisin, almond and brie. Service is friendly, efficient and personal - a complicated balance to achieve - well done!Thank you for the lovely review....... All the staff at L'auberge work hard to give a unique experience right here in downtown Belleville, and we never get tired of hearing how our customers enjoy it........ hoping to see you again soon at L'Auberge.....

Restaurant was in great location. Parking very close. It was fairly busy but were seated immediately. A table for 2. My only niggle, (table was very compact). Service, decor, staff friendliness, cleaness, etc., were all excellent. This was our second visit here and both were most pleasant experiences. The pot of coffee on the table is a most appreciated touch. Take note, other restaurants. The food was tasty and attractively presented. A quite wide menu variety. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is great. Will be back for more.

We went here as it has been years since we last visited. My burger was good. Nothing extraordinary but good.I wasn't too impressed with a $5.75 root beer and a $5.75 mineral water.That's ridiculous!!!Our server was great tho.As the title states, might be another few years before we come back...
