Reviewed By pamelapU7952PKI had a wonderful experience at Miss Sophie's, the personell was kind, polite, smiling and helpful, and the place is simply beautiful. by mistake I booked the attic room, and i've never been more happy to have done a mistake! the roof over the bed and the shower was glass, and it was possible to see the sky, the atmosphere was cozy and warm, the bed was comfortable and big, everything was simply amazing. the breakfast in the morning was amazing, prbably one of the best scrumbled eggs I had in my life. I'm really looking forward to go back to Olomouc (a delightful city) and i will book at Miss Sophie's again.

You can stay in one of the 37 stylish rooms in a great location, between the main Olomouc railway station and the city centre. All rooms are air conditioned and provide maximum comfort and privacy. There are double/twin rooms with private bathroom with shower and toilet; a kitchenette with a fridge and electric kettle, which is equipped with additional basic utensils. You will also find an LCD TV in the room, and superior rooms includes a hairdryer, an iron and a coffee maker. Free Wi-Fi is available everywhere. There is an internet, data projector, multifunction printer with a photocopier and of course delicious coffee. The hotel appears clean and contemporary and the room was quite large with tall ceilings and big windows - larger than many hotel rooms in the U.S. The area was quiet and right along a tram route for easy access to city locations. It is also a short walk to the historic city center and many of the monuments, museums, and religious buildings. About 10 minutes walk are also a few shopping centers that are similar to four-story malls. Grocery items, cafes, and many other stores can be found in these centers. The breakfast is fantastic! Included in the room rate, it is worth visiting. Healthy options like oatmeal and dried fruits along with hard boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, and pastries are among some of the choices. Would definitely stay again!

The receptionist knew English, was kind and professional The hotel has a spa that we have not tried The rooms in the boarding house are large, spacious, carefully designed and no doubt recently renovated, in one of the rooms the bed was electrically adjustable The bathroom has a large shower, a sink with a wide surface. The towels have seen better days, obviously not new In the TV room, coffee set, small refrigerator, desk that can be used for working with a computer, radiator for heating, there was no air conditioning, but during the visit was also not necessary. There is a facility for placing a suitcase, a wardrobe and also a seating area with 2 designed armchairs. The room has many electrical sockets scattered everywhere and allow charging of electrical appliances: cell phone, computer, toothbrush The room has excellent and non-dim lighting, near the bed a switch that allows general shutdown and also communication sockets But, when the general light is turned off, the sockets disconnect and so in fact at night the electrical equipment is not charged, I found that the socket in the bath does not disconnect At the bedside there is no side dresser and no personal reading lighting Those arriving by car should note that the navigation apps lead to the wrong location. Enter the church next to the hotel as an address and navigate accordingly. We tried to get help from the police at the police station located about 300 m as the crow flies from the hotel, but they could not explain how to get to the address that appears on the website, we spent a lot of time finding the place. The hotel has close, spacious and inexpensive private parking A good breakfast is served at the hotel in a decorated dining room

Hard to find gem in the central area of Olomouc - best with a car
Reviewed By BellainBellevueAlthough I was on foot, I was so pleased to find the V Raji hotel. It was the nicest hotel that I stayed in during a month in europe. Almost scandinavian in design, I got the feeling that it was an architect's pet project. Lots of nice detail in the rooms. It has two floors and no elevator that I could see. I was the only one staying there - I guess it was off-season, so they opened the restaurant for breakfast just for me. The staff were nice and spoke english. If you have a car, there is pay parking in a garage next door. This hotel is down a big hill with cobblestone sidewalks from where the city trams run so be aware of that if you don't have a car. Taxis were cheap and efficient, so I would recommend taking a cab if you don't have a car. Do be aware that your driver likely won't speak english.

Reviewed By Omer TTerrific experience, I can't recommend this hotel enough. The location, minutes walk from the holy trinity, is obvious. The fine breakfast has also already been mentioned in various reviews, here and on booking. com. We spontaneously decided to arrive one day earlier and were upgraded to a larger room for free. Ms. Slavka at the reception was extremely helpful, helping us make it to the hotel at 23.00, and on the next night sending us to svatováclavský pivovar, helping us understand the tram, and on top of that: baking a great cake for the breakfast. Also worthy of mention: Christina sent us to the Archbishops' palace and Martin made great Bacon for breakfast, so thank you too. We now hope to get back to this lovely city and great hotel one day.

Our two apartments Michael and Rafael have private bathroom and are consisted from two separated rooms. You can find there a hairdryer, a kettle, minibar, towels, shower gels. In Michael there is also a writing desk and in Rafael you can use a washing machine. From windows you can enjoy a view on St. Wenceslas Cathedral - a dominant of Olomouc. As we want you to be happy serving a free breakfast in your room is a matter of course. You can choose the healthy one, the standard one and during the week also the sweet one from local bakery. Really love this place, a few drawbacks
Reviewed By Cathy023We were in Olomouc for a couple days and stayed at Pension Royal. The most important thing is that the room was immaculately clean, as was the whole facility. You have to reserve a time and choose your meal in advance for breakfast but they had some excellent choices on the menu. Given how small the place is, this is quite understandable. Breakfast is served on a terrace at the back of the property. On the downside, all rooms are at least one flight of stairs up, some more. If you are carrying luggage, a stroller or have bed knees, this could be a drawback. Also the rooms are not air conditioned and do NOT have fans, so summer evenings can be very hot until about 4 am. One night we had a drunk singing outside our window until the wee smalls. Despite these small problems, we would definitely stay here again but bring a fan.
