I was so hungry, pretty much anything should have tasted good. With a 4 am wakeup and not eating till nearly 12 hours later, crayons should have tasted good. I love spicy and interesting food and saw this shop at North Market. So, I thought I'd give the pork/chicken dumpling assortment a go. My first thought as they handed me the container was wow, these 8 dumplings are heavy! Well, that's because the doughy dumpling was heavy - thick and clumsy and somewhat tasteless. I had no idea which was pork or chicken, and as I ate them, the small amount of filling wanted to fall out anyway. While I ate these I was not thinking "wow, super flavor, wonder what's in these?" Instead, I thought, "thank goodness they are steamed, because if they were fried I'd never digest them; I'm going to eat these because they cost $10 and I don't waste food, and wow, how disappointing." The dipping sauce was good, but once you put even the smallest amount on the dumpling then you had some sauce flavored dough. The ice cream I had afterwards really should have been my meal instead.

So, let's get something straight here. Hunan Lion is not an authentic Chinese restaurant. It's more of a classy Americanized Chinese restaurant, In that sense, it's more of a classic Chinese restaurant that used to be found in many American cities. I tried both the sweet corn and chicken soup and the sizzling rice soup. The sweet corn and chicken soup was okay, but I thought that the sizzling rice soup was excellent. I looked on the menu to find an authentic dish, and ordered the House duck with some trepidation. However, much to my surprise, the duck was quite good. Tender and basted in a tasty sauce. My friend who is vegetarian, got one of the tofu based entrees, which was also quite good. Overall: Great ambience, good service, and good American Chinese food with fresh ingredients.

It's alright for a place that has all the Asian food. The pad thai lacks the quintessential basil. Sushi rolls were tasty. General Tso's chicken dish was good. It's good but it's not spectacular.

Ironically the best Ramen I have ever had was in Scotland but this is a very close second. We ordered ramen and gioza at the counter, found a seat and a few minutes later the meal was served to us. The food was served hot and was quite tasty. The food was appropriately portioned and quite filling. They also had a hard apple cider on tap that I ordered. I did not care for the cider but that has more to do with a dislike of nutmeg. There was a heavy nutmeg flavor to the cider. Overall, I would certainly recommend!

I stopped in to Min-Ga on a Saturday afternoon. I had first visited Buckeye Pho but that place is so crowded and they have the tables so close together I didn't feel comfortable.Min-Ga is really excellent Korean cuisine. I had the Jap Chae, after asking the waitress which meal was the most popular. It is an amazing pile of noodles, high-quality beef and lots of vegetables and spices. I really enjoyed...about half of it. Too much food, even though I was hungry and am a big eater. Excellent value at only $13. Most dishes come with a nice assortment of kim chi and various pickled vegetables and tofu. Everything was just so good and the staff was friendly too. I highly recommend Min-Ga.

This was my first experience eating ramen outside of making it at home. It was tasty. I liked the pork broth, it had a richness to it. We we're recommend this place by my brothers girlfriend. It was a budget friendly meal. You get alot of food for the price. I am giving it four stars because the pork spring rolls were really watery. When both the hubs and I took a bite they squirted out all over us and our clothes. It was a mess. Be careful if you get them! My husband had the teriyaki chicken plate. He liked it.

This is a perfect, cozy hole-in-the-wall diner with great service, food and conversation. Right out of Mayberry, the restaurant is mostly counter service. I met a friend here for breakfast and we both had hearty breakfasts -- coffee, toast, home fries and corned beef hash -- for barely $12 each. We tried to visit again one Monday morning but they were unexpectedly closed. Park on the street in front or along the side.

My husband and I went here on a recommendation then returned soon after with foodie friends, we were so pleased. The pho is excellent, clean tasting broth with plenty of toppings and not as heavy as other places. The bubble tea smoothies are made with fresh fruit and real sugar, and are incredible. On our second visit our server recommended their bread which can be brought in small pieces for dipping in the pho itself. This was delicious and a perfect compliment to the soup. Everyone was kind and attentive and this place has been put into our restaurant rotation now when we want to go out to get a reasonably priced meal. Our friends, who used to live abroad, were also very satisfied and want to go back. I think this is probably the best pho place in Columbus, and the inside is cozy and simply elegant. A great find!
