Had dinner with family there at outback in Troy....amber the manager Abby the manager Jessica the manager ... All the best and friendliest professional management team you will ever meet, but kudos to Jenna k.What a beautiful soul and professional .As our server, everything timed right and always served with a fabulous warm smile..Great job ladies... Only element missing was the bartender Linda... But what a great dining experience.. thank you all

Stopped by here with hubby on our way through town. Lived 25 minutes from here all my life but have never been. Great warm bar atmosphere, friendly service, clean, awesome choice of craft brewskis and kick booty food!!! I had the buffalo Goat cheese appetizer with toasted crostini and the chicken chili soup. Yumola!!! We will certainly be back and recommend!!

This is a sports bar that serves up a large menu of very tasty food. Obviously subs are the big menu item, but there is also pizza and a few other sandwich variations. They have vegetarian items. I recommend the Italian (or the super Italian with more meat) or the cheese steak. My "Excellent" rating is in comparison to other bar/restaurants of this type, not to the several fine dining establishments in Troy-Tipp.

One of my friends/former coworkers often enjoyed lunch here, and I found an opportunity to try them out. Ordered right off the top of the menu, the bacon cheeseburger with everything. Burger: good, served very warm (even the bun), cheese, bacon, open-face with the generous wedge of lettuce, slice of red onion, one slice of a medium tomato, and lots of kosher pickle slices. The fries were awesome--I asked if they were made fresh but no, so they have a superb supplier. There was enough mayo on the side to cover the bun and also mix with ketchup for dipping fries.Brightest spot: the service was super-friendly! These are good, good people.Restaurant has lots of seating options including a nice little back patio.Well worth another meal!

I travel to Troy, Ohio every year for various blacksmith events. A trip is not complete without several trips to K's for both breakfast and lunch. Fresh hamburgers, from fresh ground beef, and a staff that reminds you of the good that is rare but still exists.

Can't drive through Skyline country without stopping, and we picked this location for lunch off I-75. Everything was good. Friendly people, clean place. They got a little overwhelmed at the counter for a bit and couldn't keep up with the people trying to pay (line 4 deep) but even so it only took about 5 minutes. Great location.

Early dinner so was promptly at a table. Limited menu but several items to choose from. Had the shrimp and chicken rockafeller that was excellent. My wife had the lobster Mac and cheese with shrimp. Not enough shrimp or lobster but good smoked flavor.

This place has it all. The atmosphere was spacious and homey, the staff was genuinely welcoming and friendly, the owner stopped by to introduce himself, and view included trees and a lake. The food was outstanding. Our party tried everything from ravioli, to chicken parmesan, to a burger, to salmon, and every item was delicious. Yes, the prices are mid to upper range for Ohio, but it was still an outstanding value. Don't miss Smith's when in Troy.

The food is good -- excellent even -- and the ambience is fine, but service at The Caroline has always been uneven in my experience. I wouldn"t discourage anyone from dining at The Caroline but be prepared for the possibility that service may not live up to your expectations.

Hoping my visit was an exception to the rule. Got the lunch special. Pulled bbq chicken was dry. Bun was dry. At least it was easy to avoid and save calories. Green beans ok, but underseasoned. Mashed potatoes no better than school cafeteria. Soda machines broken so had to resort to iced tea. Stopped drinking when struck by mildew flavor. Sorry, since I really wanted to like this place.Hi Cindy,Iâm so sorry. We will look into the issues with the food. The soda machine went down that morning, and we were waiting on Pepsi to come out and fix it. We apologize, and will address your other concerns with our staff. I truly hope you will try Hickory River again, as we never want to lose a customer. Thank you.
