This place isn't for everyone - but we continue to love everything about it! Scallops & duck are a favorite - as is the salmon tuna pate. Bumbleberry and key lime pies are nice finishes. We are also learning to appreciate their wine selection.

These donuts are delicious. Made fresh and hot in front of you. Many toppings to choose from. My favorites are peanut butter and chocolate chips ... and orange cream sickle.

Taylor's is a really comfortable space with a nice sized bar and a very friendly staff. The food is what I would call typical American fare and there is something for everyone. It is good food, well prepared but nothing over the top. If you want consistent quality, and good off-season specials, they have it. Burgers and fish sandwiches are great.

After 2 different Uber drivers named this place as one of their favorite restaurants we decided to give it a try. Sunday night in the off-season was not crowded and we didn't need a reservation. The hostess greeted us at the door which was very welcoming. The floor to ceiling windows were impressive with a great view of the marsh. There was no sunset due to the cloud cover, but it was pretty just the same. Now for the food.... we are not big eaters, so no appetizer or salad for us - just the entrees and dessert, and a cocktail. The grapefruit juice in my drink tasted fresh squeezed and was delicious. Hubby was happy with his Guinness. The entrees were pricey but the quality was worth it. Crab cakes at $39 that night were all crab - no filler. I am not fond of Old Bay seasoning so I should have told them not to use it, but the flavor of the crab still came through. The mashed potatoes and green beans that came with it were perfectly prepared and delicious. Hubby got the salmon dish - I think it was prepared with squash, potatoes and a balsamic glaze, but it was also well prepared and he thourally enjoyed it. Mary's Delight for dessert was definitely a delight! Advertised as their speciality it did not disappoint. Walnut crust with pudding and cheesecake with whipped cream was light and very yummy. Our server was very attentive but not overly so. If we come back to OCMD I would definitely eat here again. Dinner for 2 with one drink each and dessert was $110 + tip.

I can't begin to say enough great things about Lighthouse Sound and its incredible staff members! My husband had a fairytale wedding day at LHS in July 2017. The location and scenery is unlike any other wedding venue we visited, the staff was attentive and extremely passionate about making our special day as perfect as possible. The food was fresh and delicious! Anything we asked for they tried their absolute best to make happen. Shellie, our in-house wedding director, was an absolute joy to work with. Leading up to our wedding day she was in constant contact and was sure to answer any and all questions we had. She made me, the bride, feel so comfortable about the entire weekend. Lauren and Shellie ran through the ceremony at rehearsal dinner the evening before and eased our minds about any concerns. Guests had the option to pick from 3 delicious meals that I listed below, cocktail hour we offered our guests buttered appetizers, drinks were waiting for our guests as soon as the ceremony ended, and the wait staff and bartenders were beyond efficient the duration of the reception. I could seriously go on and on about how incredible our wedding day was and a major reason for that was because of the beautiful venue and amazing staff at Lighthouse Sound! If you are looking for a wedding venue, party location, or even an evening out for dinner this is a no brainer-choose Lighthouse Sound!

This is a deli that makes oversized sandwiches and subs. They are a bit pricey but share one. Great stop on your way to the beach. I enjoyed the shrimp salad Sandwich on wheat bread.
