La Plage Aux Mouettes overlooks the beach of Faubourg d'Avall and offers spectacular views of the bay of Collioure with its iconic castle and church. Service was friendly and quick, although the restaurant was very busy. And the food was just delicious, especially the fresh fish (tuna tartar, turbot, sea bass) - highly recommended!

Despite having made a reservation for the restaurant we were given a table on the terrace - poor relation to the restaurant at which all bar two tables had smokers on them. The service was very slow - we were there for over 3 hours The choice of wines to accompany the dishes was not successful in all cases with one of the wines being cloudyOverall not the experience expected or hoped for Bonjour Karen,How sad for us to read your comment on tripadvisor this morning!I welcomed you last night and accompanied you to your table. if we have given you this table, it is because it is, for us and for our customers, one of the prettiest on our terrace of the fig tree.As you may have seen on arrival, the upper room was not full unlike the terrace down, and it would have been very easy to find you a nice table upstairs if you had made the request...You’ve arrived at 20h and left at 22h45, which is not more than 3 hours as you say in your comment ... this service time is normal for a menu such as the one you took. Anyway we are sorry that our services have not been to your expectations, and sorry that you have waited to be behind your screen to tell us, when we met several times yesterday evening and so we could have discussed it together...

We were looking for a place for a light, not too expensive lunch. La Voile provided us just that. We were welcomed into the restaurant by the Maitre de who apologised for not having tables but we could sit at the bar which surrounded the restaurant. As it turned out he gave us the best seats n the house, well, outside actually. We had sweeping views across the port and out to sea across the Mediterranean. Absolutely the BEST! And the food, the choice was excellent, the quality was fantastic, fresh and very enjoyable, washed down with a Rose. What more could be said. Go, try it.

Ate dinner here on our last night in Colliore and we weren't disappointed. This is primarily a shellfish restaurant, but they also have a selection of tapas. We ordered mussels (outstanding) and a selection of tapas with a really nice bottle of wine. The food was very good indeed and the service is excellent. Highly recommended

This is by far one of the top restaurants in Collioure.If you would like a chef that knows his/her flavours, and memorable meal this is for you.The waiter spoke excellent English to explain all about the dishes and service was really good.The food came out the flavours combinations were lovely and the food cooked with great care.The menu is limited, we prefer this but if may not be for all.Hopefully you will enjoy as much as we did.

Down a quiet backwater in a busy resort, as far as I could tell, there is only outside seating. The tapas are good but not exceptional - the sort of fare you would find in a Spanish provincial port. The Lomo Iberique is recommended and also the Boquerones. Service is genuinely friendly so this is the place for a light meal or snack. Lunch for 2 with average wine was €32.

This restaurant located on the Quai Francois Joly in Port-Vendres, has a mellow vibe where people share their experiences, during balmy evenings, with a beautiful view of the port in the background. The welcome is very pleasant, with the laconic personae of the seafarers who attend to the basics with patience and courtesy. We had some great lunches there; the oysters and anchovies were delicious, and red mullets to die for! Hoping to get back there soon.

Small, nicely decorated place on a pedestrianised elevated strip with terrific views over the bay and port. Shown to an inside table by pleasant and efficient staff. The ma and pa owners were clucking over the staff and the kitchens. Very limited chalk board menu gave us great expectations over the eight page tourist fodder. We both went for the tuna as here we are in a port. Both asked for the fish " a point" - rare. After 15 mins the plates arrived. Oh, dear ! A thin slice of (frozen, I strongly suspect) tuna slathered in an overpowering lime and garlic dressing. My tuna was grossly overcooked. The accompanying vegetable was even worse - a splodge of cold,grey mashed potato with some dark, indeterminate "herb" mixed in. The whole was covered with chopped chives. That was it for €13.50. Very unpleasant.

Lovely little restaurant worth seeking out. A small menu with good variation makes choosing easy. Going for the 23Euro menu, we were not disappointed. Fresh local sea food (and non seafood, but I love fish) was aboslutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and sitting outside with a harbour view was delightful.
