I've been going to this place since it was a small outdoor diner. Excellent food and fast service. A must go place if you are wanting very good Mexican food. The Oakley one has seafood dishes that are great. Brentwood one doesn't have seafood, but the food and service is great also.

In the heart of old downtown Brentwood! Charming small cafe with a bakery where all items are made in house.
My sister in law had the Greek Omelet and and I had the Relleno Omelet, both with egg beaters and fruit instead of hash browns, includes toast.
Service was prompt and friendly. Food was hot and delicious. They forgot our side order of bacon but brought it quickly when we mentioned it.
Bakery items look yummy but not on our diet plan.
Busy place but nice and homey!

Unless you are looking for a flavor specific to Baskin Robbins - why spend more when you can go to John's Ice Cream for a fraction of the price? Great ice cream - decent size scoops. Could use more seating.

This. Is a great place to get lunch or dinner. They have a very simple meal, yet very tasty and healthy portions. I lo e their minestrone soup with bread. You can also purchase it to take home. Most people can get a meal for less that $15. Very reasonable, but you have to pay cash. That's the only thing to consider.

Just like any other starbucks you have visited. Lots of people and an efficient staff getting your order out. Drive through is a little long sometimes but what do you expect.

Whenever my sweet tooth is calling out to me I go to yogurt island- they have ice cream, shaved ice and frozen yogurt. All good quality and delicious! Staff is polite and the place is clean

This place was touted as the best Mexican restaurant in the area so my expectations were high. The waiter, who was very nice, brought chips and salsa. The salsa looked like it had been served to another group before us but the chips were so stale, I couldn't have eaten them even if the salsa was excellent. I ordered a taco salad which comes in a flour tortilla "bowl". The ground beef had way too much cumin and there was no salsa on the salad. The flour tortilla bowl was stale and didn't even break off, it just sort of hung limply when I tried to break off a piece. Very disappointing meal and since there really are some good places in the area, I won't waste time and money going to this one again.

Tried black bear Diner's all over California they're all about the same the only difference is the cooks and the Waiters/ waitresses, food is all pretty much average out to eat diner food. Nothing really special nothing to write home about.

Our first visit in some time and the food is still excellent! In the past service has been occasionally lacking but tonight it was very attentive. My wife and I split an order of ribeye steak oscar ($52). Very well prepared. $5 plate charge and you get accompanying vegetables for both plates. Just the right amount of food for us. The lobster bisque was very well prepared, although it could have been hotter. We finished it off splitting an order of apple crisp and ice cream. Great night out for us!

This was our favorite Chinese restaurant when my husband and I lived in Oakley. The family who owns it is friendly and accommodating. I would leave a bottle of gluten-free soy sauce there and they would make my dishes specially for me. If I tried to order something they couldn't make gluten free, Lillian would always let me know. The food was consistently delicious.
