Travelling alone to resolve some pending business matters, I found the hotel using a search engine by applying my requirements, such as proximity to town centre, breakfast included, comfort and cleanliness. Their service is welcoming by all the staff and is faultless. I was also extremely pleased with my room, but I must advise that it is not for those with mobility issues, as the room is modern with internal stairs. I believe there are one level only rooms if you prefer and request. In my room there was a small kitchen area on its lower ground with a small fridge that was helpful to keep fruits to eat at night. The bed was very comfortable and on the mezzanine. The hotel is within walking distance to most convenience stores, restaurants and shopping centres. The breakfast is the “star of the show”, with delicious cakes, cheese bread, fresh coffee, fruits and juices of the season. However, breakfast is the only meal available, which is not a problem as the vicinity is very well served with plenty of nice restaurants to choose from.

Reviewed By Denise0086This hotel has lovely view over the valley and is close to the mountains for a pleasant walk. The staff are exceptionally friendly, even though only a few speak English. Our first floor room had a balcony and was spacious with good lighting and showers. The wifi is good even in the room. The breakfast (7-10) is quite excellent with an extensive buffet including fresh fruit and juice, cereal , toast, cakes, and hot dishes. It is taken in the restaurant with magnificent views.

The hotel is wayyy better than I had anticipated. It feels like a boutique hotel without the boutique prices. Private parking. Rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. We stayed in room 303 with just a double bed and 304 with a double bed and a single bed. Bathroom shower has good water pressure. Nice views from rooms. Bedrooms were cleaned every day and they smell so good and fresh. My kids wanted to sleep at grandma's most days but my 5 years old slept with us a couple of nights, and kids his age have no extra charge. My 13 year old could come join us for a very small charge ($12 a night). They have 2 pools, one with a water slide and the other facing the breakfast room has a beautiful waterfall (man made), playground for the kids, beautiful grounds all throughout the hotel. Breakfast table (my favorite part) is very abundant with fresh squeezed juices, fruits, good coffee, breads, pastries, cakes, eggs, cheeses and lunch meat, all included with our stay. Shout out to Ruth and the Kitchen staff making everything fresh every morning and always been attentive to all our needs. Also Anderson and Victor from the front desk, polite and helpful. Walking distance from downtown, lots of stores and restaurants near by. I will definitely come back and already told my family to recommend to friends when they come to visit.

Reviewed By rita FStaff is professionally oriented. Room was of good size and clean. I stayed in a room facing the Main Street but the noise was not an issue. Good breakfast serving fresh fruits and juices as well as fresh cheeses and jams and four types of baked cakes. Some ongoing renovations on the way however dust and noise were under control. Great location well centered, near stores and walking distance to Praça Getúlio Vargas. Good value.
