Everything was new and fresh. Very good beds and sheets. I recommend to everyone to rent this place. This is quality . My girlfriend @ Laura Felea rented this place and we loved it! Great Ski Lodge, not ideal for family Lapland breaks
Reviewed By russellmR7483AWThis is a beautiful, well equipped group of ski lodges with great ski-in access, good storage, drying rooms etc… However, we booked a 2 Bedroom lodge as a family of 5 (6,6,8) as part of a TUI Lapland trip. This lodge was not great for a family, there just wasn’t enough space, beds. The coach dropped us at the main pick-up drop off point. Which was about a 200m walk from the accommodation down a snow covered icy road. We commandeered a couple of kids plastic toboggans loaded our suitcases and headed down the hill, completely out of control and crashing into a big pile on snow at the bottom of the hill. This was a great fun start to the holiday for us. But, is you had any sort of mild mobility issues, or a single parent with kids, this would have been a real struggle. When we got inside only the 2 twin beds in the main bedroom were made up we had to make up, the room supposedly slept 6 people, but no idea where. There was only enough bedding pillows and towels for 4, we told the TUI rep who quickly sorted us some more bedding and towels, but then struggled for an hour to make up the bunk beds. We were then a bit confused where the extra 2 people (1 in our case) was meant to sleep. The sofa was a sofa, you could take off the pillows and use it to sleep on, but not really make it up as a bed. The bottom bunk was extra wide, so the kids shared the bottom bunk with one on the top not great but it worked. The daily walk up and down to Ruka village was again great fun if you have the ability. The drying cabinet was a great positive and really helped. As is the case in most accommodation, there’s never enough hanging space for coats, towels and clothes as a family of 5. Great location and accommodation for ski holiday for 2 adults 2 children or 3 adults max. Wouldn’t choose this accommodation for a family Lapland trip. Photo is from the balcony.

Unbelievable afternoon - dream come through for kids
Reviewed By Colin MWe had an unbelievable morning with husky safari (exhilarating cross country husky ride) passing through stunningly beautiful ruka region. The trip ended with a lovely lunch and meet santa in the village. A surreal experience we will always remember particularly for the children.

Rukariutta Apartments on perheystävällinen huoneistohotelli Rukan Portissa lähellä palveluita. Tilaa löytyy niin perheiden kuin kaveriporukoidenkin lomanviettoon: Rukariutta koostuu yläkerran kymmenestä huoneistosta (60m²), sekä kahdeksasta uudesta alakerran huoneistosta (70m²), jotka valmistuivat syyskuussa 2019. Molemmissa huoneistotyypeissä on 2 makuuhuonetta ja levitettävä sohva (4+2), sauna ja wc. Huoneistossa on myös pyykinpesukone, kuivauskaappi sekä hyvin varusteltu keittiö pidempääkin lomaa varten. Kymmenessä yläkerran huoneistossa on lisäksi takka. Jokaisessa huoneistossa on joko oma parveke tai terassi. Rukariutta sijaitsee vain 700m päässä Rukankylästä, Rukanportin alueella. Aivan vierestä löytyy kelkkavuokraamo, kauppa, Alko, lounas- ja kahvilapaikka sekä vaivattomat kulkuyhteydet julkisilla liikennevälineillä Kuusamon keskustaan tai Karhunkierroksen alkupisteeseen Hautajärvelle. Ravintola Zone sijaitsee noin 800m päässä huoneistoista. Kelkkavuokraamo Rukahuolto sijaitsee Rukariutan naapurissa. Lähin ruokakauppa on vain 200 metrin päässä Riutasta.
Halpa mutta laadussa sen näkee. Hyvät kävely yhteydet Rukakeskukseen.
Reviewed By VirveL46Sanonta halvalla ei saa hyvää, piti paikkansa. Huonekalut, astiat ruoanlaitto välineet kuluneet ja osa jopa käyttökelvottomat. Pihalla Rukan skibussien parkkipaikat ja aitoja saatettiin pitää tyhjäkäynnillä aamuvarhaisesta lähtien. Saunan sähkökiuas oli todella monimutkainen mutta sitten kun älysi sen lokiigan niin saatiin saunakin lämpimäksi. Naapuri asunnon takan sytytys aiheutti kaikkiin asuntoihin pitkään kestäneen palohälyytyksen joten ei uskallettu riskeerata uusintaa ja 750€ hälyytyssakkoa, joten jätettiin takka käyttämättä. Seinänapurin äänet kuuluvat helposti läpi. Hyvää hyvät kävely yhteydet Rukakeskukseen, ruokakaupan ja Alkon sijainti ihan vieressä. Ei tulla kyllä tänne uudestaan.

Likainen ja vanha kohde
Reviewed By Roving08019075228Koira haisi kun tulimme kohteeseen. Veimme matot ulos jolloin lattialta löytyi leikattuja varpaankynsiä. Seinissä ja ilmastointiventtiileissä pölyä, ovet ja kalusteet surkean näköiset ja koko huoneisto tarvitsee päivitystä. Pesukoneen alaosassa ruostetta, suihkuletku myös katkeamassa ja ruosteessa. Verhot rispaantuneet. Muutoin huoneistossa on kaikki tarvittava ja sijaiinti on hyvä. Sandys Kelt paikassa loistava ruoka ja tarjoilu.Avain haettiin Sandys Keltistä ja palautettiin laatikkoon. Ei fyysisiä kontakteja henkilökuntaan.

Perfect place to spent holidays close to nature
Reviewed By Anjana SKajaani Cottages ( kainuun meri) was my 4th stay in Finland , it was in perfect location. Though having a car to reach this place is ideal. They have lovely cottages with kitchenette, bunk bed for kids,& everything u need for your stay. Lovely patio to sit outside to spent time. We took cottages which had Sauna it was so nice to have it privately. The outside ambience was perfect just to Stroll around in the property it was green luckily it was raining too that time. They have beautiful places to sit near water to do some swimming or to just go for boating( they have a boat for free) u can just pick n go) . Also there is playground with swings & slides & sand pit for kids and plenty of toys so kids can spend a good time. It was really relaxing place in mid of water & greenery. With well equipped cottages. The owner was really helpful & was taking care of tiny things if we asked. A perfecf place to spent a good time with family or just couples.

Perfect studio for ski holiday
Reviewed By WanderlustbuddyWe stayed for a few days over the 'spring break' celebration period. Since the apartments are located in Vuosselin it was not crowded and quite. The studio is functional and had everything we needed. Perfect to cook yourself and eat at the dinning table. Would recommend for 2 ppl max since the place is not big. The dryer wardrobe for wet cloth and shoes is amazing. The apartment was clean. I would just criticise that towels and linen are not included in the price. You have to pay extra.

Reviewed By Passenger40949052337Toinen käynti tänä vuonna. Hieno rauhallinen paikka puolen tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rukalta, Riisitunturilta ja Oulangan luontokeskuksesta. Iso tilava mökki jossa sauna järvinäkymällä. Oma vene joka mökillä käytössä. Grillikatos hiekkarannan vieressä jossa mukava paistaa makkarat uinnin lomassa. Talvella takka hoiti saman asian. Mökki kivan viileä vaikka ulkona hellettä.
