I had read that this was a great sushi restaurant. The food quality which is obviously the most important was very good. However mis en place of the restaurant, (unironed tablecloths under plastic toppers), a very uninspiring dining room, old toilets) as well as how my food was presented; quite honestly I have never been to a proper Japanese and had such badly presented food!! Real shame as simply for example slicing the special rolls into same size pieces cannot be that hard..I would come again but next time would order only for example the menu of the month which sounded good at Euro 14.50 with free tap water instead of a full menu including two glasses of wine and a glass of mineral water at Euro 40. Shame....

This restaurant is huge, but it was still very very busy on a Sunday evening, hard to believe in Wuppertal. And the reason is very simple: a huge choice, decent quality, and you can stuff yourself at a very reasonable price (if that's what you are after). There are several options: a menu - I found one on the internet, but it doesn't seem to be 'encouraged'-, a mongolian wok-style buffet, a chinese buffet. The chinese buffet has starters, main dishes and desserts. The starters are OK, but pretty much everything is deep fried (and I suspect comes in big frozen bags). The main dishes and rice / noodles on the other hand are very good, all the sauces are very tasty, some are spicy, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The desserts, well, fruits, ice cream, totally adequate, you don't go to a chinese restaurant for the desserts. What promises loads and delivers little is the mongolian wok. A lot of different types of row meat (including ostrich, kangoroo, etc...), fish, seafood and vegetables. You assemble your dish, pick your sauce, and give it up for cooking. I picked some ostrich, many vegetables and 2 sauces (you don't get to add the sauces, the cook does): result: very tough meat, too much sauce, not great. Why offer such a diverse choice of meat, if you are unable to get it right? Disappointing. Anyway, all together, I can see why people are coming here: 33 Euros for 2 buffets and 2 drinks (one of which was not what I ordered), but maybe we are over the days of 'eat as much as you can'...

I really enjoyed eating here. The fish is very fresh and the employees work with you to choose what you want in the proper portion size. Everything I and my friend had we liked very much. The food was priced reasonably, the choice was great and the seating very comfortable. I don't know what else to say, try this place, you will like it.

Bestes Sushi in Wuppertal, Essensqualität top Auswahl konnte etwas vielseitiger sein. Atmosphäre und Service gibt leider den Punktabzug. Trotzdem super Essen, gerne wieder!

Ich war am Sonntag wieder hier und muss sagen, ich bin wie immer begeistert. Der Service ist super fix und freundlich. Das Essen kommt wirklich sehr schnell und schmeckt sehr lecker. Auch am Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gibt es nix zu meckern. Komme gerne immer wieder. Auch alle anderen mit denen ich dort essen war sind begeistert. Egal ob Freunde oder Familie.
