After finishing work nearby, we dropped by this area with a cluster of restaurants. We peeked through the window and seeing other patrons enjoying themselves, we wanted to give this one a try. We went with the beef noodle soup recommended by our waitress, though I think she might be the owner there. We didn't speak German but she had an English menu and a heartwarming smile. We ordered a beef, duck, and a pork dish - see photos attached. The service was fantastic and we enjoyed the authentic Thai cuisine. If you like spicy, ask for the dry hot spices to sprinkle on the food or just order the food spicy. The sprinkles were spicy and flavorful, not just heat. (The soup was only on the German menu and I am glad we gave it a try!). We hope to be back for lunch tomorrow and taste other dishes. Enjoy.

Our favorite Thai Restaurant when we are in that region of Germany. Beautiful location next to the dam (Aggertalsperre) - a rural area with nice walking opportunities around and a nice interior with a lot of bamboo as well. The menu has a spicyness rating from one chili up to three chilis - which means you can expext the authentic spicyness known from Thailand if you chose a main course with 2 or 3 chilis.For me the flat screen showing a Thailand image film wouldn't have been necessary, but it didn't disturb me wither - was without sound.The food is really yummy and - according to my experience in Thailand - quite authentic.

We visited the premises several times over the years. The selection of food varies since.Within the week it looks, that half of it is on offer. fresh seafood or fresh meat selection ready for personal fry is not on the top agenda. The usual prepared "chinese" food menues are tasty, but the quality is gone . Not all ingredients are fresh and meat is not of good quality.On our last visit at lunchtime, most pre prepared items were cold presented or warmish.Service is friendly, but the waiters could spot, that items were left on plates.

We had dinner at this restaurant during our stay in Gummersbach. Amazed by the size of the restaurant. Nice table setting. The concept of eat as much you can buffet is here redefined. The food on offer is selected part raw, cooked over the grill by a chef or pre-cooked. Quality and taste is excellent. The manager/owner and staff are very friendly. Sushi bar is too a nice surprise. Highly recommended.
