I'd been in Schwelm quite a couple of time, and also been to the place Eisenwerkschenke. If you ever have the chance to go there, do it. You will be rewarded with the best steak I could find up to know between the Western US and Tokio. The task, the source, everything is perfect. Yes, you can't make a reservation, yes, its sometimes very crowdy (typically always), yes, seating is very tight but: wonderful food, great location, very friendly staff and overall an experience you will not forget. Try the steak and you will get the best you ever had! Certainly, I will return if I ever have the chance.

I really enjoyed eating here. The fish is very fresh and the employees work with you to choose what you want in the proper portion size. Everything I and my friend had we liked very much. The food was priced reasonably, the choice was great and the seating very comfortable. I don't know what else to say, try this place, you will like it.

Wir hatten Hunger auf ein paar gegrillte Hähnchen und sind daher zu Hähnchen Schmitz gefahren.Natürlich ist es hier etwas teurer, als bei den mobilen Hähnchenwagen.Allerdings hat uns das Essen total enttäuscht. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier überhaupt nicht.Die Hähnchen haben einfach gar nicht geschmeckt. Viel zu schmierig und klein. Ich hätte mir lieber ein qualitativ höheres Hähnchen gewünscht und wäre dann auch bereit gewesen, den Preis zu bezahlen.Auch Freunde von mir konnten mir die schlechte Qualität der Hähnchen innerhalb der letzten Wochen bestätigen.Hier gehen wir definitiv nicht mehr hin!
