Small local Italian restaurant. Very good food, although typical Italian fare...nothing unusual. They had an English menu that was helpful for non-German speakers. If you are in the area give it a try.

Compared to its neighboring establishment --which i had just visited 2x and found consistently lacking-- Stella is everything Mr. Claudio is not. Service was extremely pleasant and accomodating. Nothing pretentious at all --and fantastic food. Wine descriptions were informative. Food from the grill was delicious (Kalbskottlet) as was the antipasti (Vorspeise). Our group of 4 were all pleased with our selective dishes, and the atmosphere, small and cozy, made this a memorable evening.

Sorry, aber ich kann diese äuÃerst negativen Bewertungen hier in keinster Weise bestätigen. Die Pizza ist für einen Lieferservice sehr gut, die Mitarbeiter sehr nett und wir haben in den letzten Monaten schon öfter bestellt zu unserer wöchentlichen Podcast-Runde, wir waren immer zufrieden!

We were searching for a resto on a Monday evening. That is not so easy in Frechen. We bumped into this resto. It is a basic Italian resto. You can get your pizza or pasta. Nothing fancy just tasty food. So why not try next time like we did?A friendly elderly lady is helping with ordering. She does make me feel being back in Italy :-)

Zum zweiten Mal besuchte ich mit einem Geschäftsfreund das zu beschreibende Restaurant, und wieder einmal konnte man völlig zufrieden sein. Unter der Woche sind meistens noch einzwei Tische zur freien Auswahl, und der Service ist ausgesprochen freundlich und prompt. Meistens erkundigt sich der Betreiber des Lokals persönlich nach unseren Wünschen und legt schnell Wein oder Gewürze nach. Besonders lecker fallen die saisonal passenden Pfifferlinge mit Salat aus sowie der klassische Carpaccio. Die probierten Pasta-Speisen sind allesamt sehr frischh und originell zubereitet, die hier öfter so kritisierte Pizza haben wir mangels Appetit hierauf nicht getestet. Der offenen Wein ist sehr lecker (Hausmarke), und so bleiben bis zum Espresso anschlieÃend keine Wünsche offen. Etwas schwierig ist die Akustik in den beiden Gasträumen: wenn an mehreren Tischen schrill sprechende und abwechselnd juchzende Frauengruppen essen wie bei unserem letzten Besuch, wird jede leisere private Unterhaltung ziemlich unterbunden. Aber sie sind jeweils recht früh gegangen, so dass nicht der ganze Abend gestört war. Im Lokal gibt es weder an den Wänden noch an der Decke Dämmmaterial, so dass man künftig einen Tag ohne weibliche Betriebsversammlungen finden müsste ...

This restaurant is hidden in an old shopping center in Frechen.We were with a party of 10.The food is very well and very good value for money. 45⬠per person, starter, main dish, coffee and good wine. It is a waste such a good restaurant is located in grey/boring Frechen. Don't hesitate, good location.

Its one of the best. The food is simply delicious! It has quiet a few vegetarian varities. The Veg Gnnochi is so nice and soft! The dio they serve with bread is to be relished! The ambience is just perfect. In a corner of a small community you will find quiet a few locals here. The staff is very courteous and friendly!

We spent the night in a fabulous new boutique hotel outside Cologne (Hotel Rothkamp) and stopped in next door at this restaurant. What a wonderful surprise! Both are owned and operated by a delightful, hard working young couple. It was late so we had desert only which would make any restaurant famous. The rest of the menu would be worth spending another day to sample. Stay and eat here! Cologne is easily reached in way less than a half hour.

Just off the main street (the tram route) opposite the church is a typical Italian restaurant. Good food and wine. Friendly service with us communicating in a strange mixture of Italian, German and English. Certainly busy, but well able to cope. Be prepared for the 'strange' pictures/murals on the wall. They 'portray' three of the four seaons but we never found Summer.
