Came here for a family event, and it was just perfect. The food was amazing, despite the fact that they had to cater for so many. The steaks were cooked just right. Good size portions too, and there's always a doggy bag ;-)Would recommend if you're looking for somewhere local with decent food and good service.

In der ehemaligen Kantine des Handelshofs hat sich ein Restaurant etabliert, welches die Kantinenatmosphäre beibehalten hat.Zwar gibt es nun Service statt Self-Service, aber der Gemütlichkeit hat dies nicht geholfen.Speisen ohne Highlights, aber zu teuer für Ambiente und Vergleich mit anderen Restaurants.

Die Heidelberger Mühle liegt idylisch zwischen Haan und Solingen. Parkplatz ausreichend vorhanden. GroÃe AuÃenterrasse. Das Essen selbst fand ich nur zufriedenstellend. Preislich liegt man im mittleren Bereich.

The restaurant is located in an ancient farmers house. It's interior is very nice and detailed and the terrace is beautiful. The food is a little bit more expensive but quality and service make this justifiable.If you are in haan, that's a restaurant you should not miss!

Im "neuen" (seid 2016) Brauhaus zum Dom waren wir gespannt, was sich alles verändert hat.An der Einrichtung nichts, aber da es vorher sehr aufwändig renoviert worden war, ist das vollkommen in Ordnung. Es ist von der Innengestaltung sehr schön und gleichzeitig dem Brauhaus - Charakter angepasst. Man fühlt sich wohl. Der AuÃenbereich könnte noch ein bisschen besser gestaltet werden, im Moment sind die Tische einfach zu klein, um entspannt essen zu können.Die Karte ist gut sortiert. Jeder sollte hier etwas finden, auch als Vegetarier braucht man keine Angst zu haben, zu verhungern :-)Wir hatten Klassiker: einmal Sülze mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat, einmal Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat.Beides war lecker, die Bratkartoffeln gut gemacht mit Speck und der Salat und knackig.Wir werden einmal den Mittagstisch probieren und dann schauen, ob es sich lohnt, von Düsseldorf hierher zu kommen :-)

I new the place from my childhood when it was and old-style traditional German "Gaststätte", but Sven has made it a decent modern styled restaurant keeping some of the "hstoric" furniture and attire. A small but well organized menu offers known dishes and some surprises which are presented very nicely by the swift and friendly service. Not to mention it just happens to taste very good. This combination of modern cooking presentation in te well refurbished rooms defnitely make the "Speckstübchen" to invite freinds an family for lunch or dinner. Thanks to Sven for reviving this place in the way he has done it Will be a signature place in Haan

Wir besuchten den Biergarten und beschränkten uns nur auf Getränke. Aus früheren Besuchen wissen wir, dass das Essen gut ist und die Preise durchaus zivil.Der Service liess jedoch bei unserem Besuch sehr zu wünschen übrig. Nachdem die (männliche) Bedienung uns 3 mal übersehen hatte (es ist mir ein Rätsel an welcher Schule man das âVorbeischauenâ lernt), wurde die Bestellung nach (lauter) Nachfrage letztlich aufgenommen, dann aber auch schnell ausgeführt. Später dann keine Nachfrage ob wir noch etwas bestellen wollen. Wäre verständlich wenn das Lokal voll gewesen wäre - war jedoch nicht der Fall.Da sollte dann doch mal beim Personal nachgebessert werden.

One of my favourite places in our region. They have kept up their brilliant service and choice of dishes to please every taste and pocket.Consistant excellence. Quite rare in our declining standards of gastrinomical service.The Solingen-Gräfrath historical market square is on the doorstep and can be enjoyed from their terrace in summer or from their window tables in colder climes.

The outdoors area of this restaurant, on a warm evening, is outstanding. The menu has a good selection, including some good steaks. The wine list while smallish, contains some very drinkable wines. I was here with a very large group, and the meals came out in a very prompt and efficient manner, usually with a large group the meals seem to be staggered and someone ends up eating last. Not in this case everything was run with "German" efficiency. The only fault I could find was th coffee, it was watery and weak. Perhaps they should invest in a Barrista and good coffee making equipment.

The Becherhus is a nice old pub with a fair choice or beers and food. The prices are not low but if you choose a dish from the daily menu you will get a good deal. Food and drinks are delicious and the waiters are friendly and fast. Would recommend!
