Very big restaurant with enormous variaty of food offering cosy areas where you have privacy due to very good interior. Fingerlicking good! Everybody can eat as they have vegetarian, fish, meet, sushi, wok, etc. You select yourself and food is very fresh due to continuous preparation at the counter.

We were there in december. We are very often in the nl, but first time in hoofddorp. We found this little snackbar and were totally suprised of the food quality. That were the best fries in nl! Also the other snacks were great.The owner served us and was very kind. He answered all my questions and did a great job with his team. Here is the only food corner where the people are standing outside in the waiting line in hoofddorp definitely a huge recommendation!

We live as Dutch people in the UK and once in a while it is so very nice to go back to Dutch restaurants. This Van der Valk restaurant is busy but produces good food. Breakfast too is plentiful and nice.

Papa's Beach House is wonderful at all season. I had the opportunity to have lunch there and ordered the new winter version of the Cesar's salad. My friends ordered a juicy burger and chicken saté and to everybody food has seemed delicious. Service is friendly and let you enjoy the beauty of the restaurant and its cosy location.Dear Leonor,Thank you very much for this positive feedback! Located outside the shopping centre, with a sunny terrace in the evening.Positives: friendly service, good selection of beers and wines, tasty food, sunny (when we were there).Negatives: the cheeseboard was a real let down, it was expensive for four tiny pieces of cheese (three of which were not Dutch). The seafood platter was tasty but contained sliced-pan toast. We would return.

Visited with a large group of work colleagues without booking. Staff could not have been more welcoming and efficient. Menus were available in English.The selection was not massive but comprehensive and everyoneâs meals were freshly cooked. Everyone satisfied. Prices were sensible as well.We were staying at the Hampton hotel and this was a short walk.No compulsion in recommending this restraunt, I would definitely go back.

A smaller coffee place nestling right next door to a well known competitor, so easily overlooked.Window seats were swings (fastened so you couldn't swing through the window!) which immediately set it apart as quirky.Lovely staff, catering for all, followed a sign language conversation between one of the staff and a customer.We just wanted coffee and appeltaart and found this much to our liking, especially as there was a special offer, making it about half the price that we have found it for elsewhere. The toasties looked amazing, so we will have to come back on our next visit to Holland and try some out.Dear Engelsman, Thank you for your great review and your recommendation. We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked about 1km to get here and were very happy that we did. My wife had catch of the day and I had a ribeye, both of them were very good. The restaurant is a cross between a farm style and modern looking restaurant, the decor was very nice. If we're ever travelling thru the area again, we're definitely going to stop in and enjoy another meal here.

Decided to give this place a try. We have ordered delivery food from here in the past and it was not too bad considering it tastes much better when you eat it there. Had some burgers and beers and the food was good service was great despite a huge table that day. Its a local place that gives you an honest burger and fries for a decent price. Will be back again

We stopped a quick coffee at this lovely spot in a side street. The lady was super friendly. Coffee was fabulous with a mini waffle on the side. We watched the passing traffic like real locals.
