Food OK...Main portions small...Long wait between courses. While waiting was watching staff in open kitchen...No one wearing gloves...That would not fly in NYThis isn't New York; nobody's required to wear gloves. Every piece of food you've ever put in your mouth has been touched by at least six pairs of ungloved hands. How many meals have you eaten in your life? I listened to the manager tell your husband over the phone that he would send you a gift certificate via mail, after declining your request to retroactively comp your meal. Now you're trashing them online? You should be ashamed of yourself. You're a petty loser.

After spending the morning walking around Asheville, NC we worked up an appetite. It was an incredibly nice day so we wanted to sit outside. The Mellow Mushroom has a very large outdoor seating area so that was our choice. We started with the bruschetta appetizer which was fantastic. We had the red sangria wine which was very good and went well with pizza. We split a 10â small pizza (sausage and pepperoni with banana pepper on half) which was plenty for two for lunch. Our server was Tori and she did fine.

Definitely some of the best pizza in Asheville. Cooked perfectly through with quality ingredients. You can tell who cooks it cares! And itâs not over-priced! Would love to go dine-in with the kids some day because every time Iâve gotten it to go there is never anyone actually eating there..but there are plenty of tables and space!

We didnât like the ambiance of this brew pub compared to others. The outdoor area is an unusual slightly slanted configuration that felt empty even though all the tables were filled. Tried the four beer sampler and really liked the B.I.G. IPA, one of the better ones weâve had. The lemon zest wheat was also intriguing and well liked. Friendly waiter, the location is a few blocks off downtown. Next time weâll try the food.

We arrived in town, dead tired, hungry, and our innkeepers suggested Papa's Pizza. It turned out to be a great "home cooking" place with these ethnic dishes! For dessert, do try their baklava. Their own recipe, and it is excellent!

My wife and I ate here with friends when we were visiting them in the Weaverville area. Â The pizza was one of the best we have eaten and we certainly recommend this restaurant. Â Staff was professional and courteous. Â Food arrived after a reasonable wait. Â Ate here on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was pretty crowded but still the wait was not too long. Â We lucked out and got a parking place right in front of the restaurant. Â I am not very familiar with the area but it looked as if parking could be a problem at very crowded times.

The Twisted Laurel West has a great staff and managers. Definitely a âgo-toâ place, whether visited after work or on the weekend. Great atmosphere. Nikki, the bartender, does a great job and is one of the friendliest bartenders Iâve ever met. I havenât been in for a while, but Nikki knew me the moment I sat down and was right there to take my drink order. A great place! Donât miss it if youâre in Asheville. â¤ï¸Cynthia, thank you! Dined in tonight with my hubby, parents, toddler, and infant. Ordered the garlic knots (very good dipped in marinara, but would be amazing if they stuffed them with mozzarella). Hubby ordered the sausage and peppers penne (loved it), toddler put a hurting on Alfredo pasta and meatball. My parents and I split a temptation pizza and it was one of the best pizzas weâve ever had! (Thin, good woodfired crust, delicious toppings, good cheese pull). Alex our server was attentive and knew the menu well. Will be back if in Asheville again
