A small portion of the town is also in Guilford County. The population was 23,123 at the 2010 census, up from 17,126 at the 2000 census. Kernersville is located at the center of the Piedmont Triad metropolitan area, between Greensboro to the east, High Point to the south, and Winston-Salem to the west. Some of the rural farmland surrounding the town has been sold and turned into large middle-to-upper-class housing developments, and numerous large shopping centers have been built in the town over the past few years. Flue-cured tobacco was the major crop grown in the area and is still grown in some areas today. While Kernersville went through a growth spurt in the first decade of the 21st century, it has leveled off and farms are doing well for the most part in an attempt to revitalize the agricultural community.

We were excited to try a new restaurant here in town last night. Went to Ledo Pizza and we were very disappointed. We were a party of 7 and we ordered 4 different pizza's. It took a good 30 minutes or more to get our pie's. All the pizza's, except one, were swimming in grease. The Spring Chicken pizza had no taste and was so oily and greasy. I complained to the server and a female manager and they said "they were sorry" and left it at that. I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon. BTW, the pizza's are not cheap either. I can get better pizza for a better price elsewhere in Kernersville.

The restaurant is small, the food is good but took a while to get and there was only one server working the entire dining room. Noticed most people were getting food to go. Would probably go back but no my first choice.

Don't let the strip mall location fool you. The restaurant is tastefully decorated.It would have been nice if the server smiled once in a while but she was professional and efficient.The floors could have used some broom action but the rest of the place was clean.The Stromboli was excellent! The food was served hot, quickly, and delicious.If you need a quick stop off of the Interstate for good comfort food, try this place

We've been eating Little Vitos pizza as carryout for over 5 years. It's our favorite locally, and i think it's improved in the last year. Everyone has personal preferences for crust and sauce, but this fits my preferences. Toppings are standard fare. Nothing gourmet, but just good, everyday pizza.

My daughter took my husband out to dinner at Amalfi's to celebrate Father's Day!He always orders a beer and the spaghetti with meatballs. Our server was very friendly and took our orders right away.The salads are always delicious served nice & cold and has the right assortment of everything!Our dinner came as ordered and everyone was hungry. No much talking, just a lot of eating!! Ha!We are always pleased with the service and the food is always delicious when we visit Amalfi's whether for lunch or dinner. We got some Lemon cake to go and if you haven't tried their Lemon cakes....boy, are you missing a treat!

This is a clean and modern restaurant that easily accommodates larger groups, and the locals seem to enjoy it. Having just returned from a full month in Italy, the servings emphasize bulk quantity, and not special quality ingredients. I am not a small person, and I was hungry, but I only ate half of my smaller menu item dish. Non exceptional wines average about $30 a bottle, and the waitress just drops it on the table like it was a basket of bread, before walking away. Seemed pricey in a place where everything else was relatively cheap.
