Donât let exterior fool you..this place is fantastic. Best Thai food Iâve ever eaten. Fresh, homemade, willing to customize everything to your preferences. Couldnât be more accommodating. Lots of specials, extensive menu with something for everyone. If you think you donât like Thai try this place you will love it! Great steak too!!!

We had lunch. A good serving and reasonably priced for lunch. Would not get the soup again as it was too salty/spicy for me. Also had the crab Rangoons. Five for 6.00. Not that great. I had pad thai, nice sauce, small shrimp done perfectly.

Utterly horrible customer service. We called several times over more than an hour long period from 5:30 to around 7 to order take out on a Monday night (yes, they were open and advertised their hours as such). We are familiar with the restaurant over the years and have eaten there a number of times before. It's not the best Thai food, but your options are limited for this sort of thing if you're in the mood for it on Oak Island. On this most recent occasion, they repeatedly answered their phone and kept us on the line without answering or responding in any manner. Just extremely rude and anti-service-friendly, almost seems like a tact to prevent further incoming phone calls from other prospective patrons. Would like to root for this place as a different option than most of the other fried seafood joints on OKI but, honestly, you're better off going to Subway and getting a sandwich. At least their staff will be helpful, responsive and you will get something to eat without getting the proverbial "slap in the face" in the form of restaurant radio silence.
