This was our 2nd visit to this WB. First visit was pretty good, but not so much 2nd time around. We each had the basic single with fries and coke. 18 bucks....and for 9 bucks...I expect a really good burger. Was average at best. WB has slipped Way Down on our list.

I'm giving Hawthorns an overall rating of "good". (note; TA ratings are either Average or Very Good....would be great if we had a choice of Good to rate restaurants with....in my opinion, there's a pretty wide span between Average and Very Good)....anyway, back to Hawthorns. Service was very good and friendly. We tried two varieties of strombolies both of which were good....marinara sauce is tasty. You'll be fine with Hawthorns.

Very accommodating crew offered to mix meats and suggesting sides and sauces. Perfect combinations. Beef and chicken had great smokey flavor, tasty and unique mac n cheese and great hush puppies. Banana pudding as a side was a great mouth cleanser and better dessert.

Hawthorne's is pricey for the quality of food. It is a nice restaurant always clean and there servers are nice, but slow and they always forget something. I have been here several times and as it is one of 6 Pizza places in a 5 mile radius I think for the price they should be spectacular and they just aren't. The side salad which is 4.50 is smaller and has greens 2 cucumbers, sliced tomatoes, and onion they give you a tablespoon of dressing so you always have to ask for more. The chicken Parmesan is frozen and deep fried, served with Marinara sauce on angel hair nothing exciting going on here 13.95. And the pizza is just ok again, not amazing Elizabeth Special Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Bell Peppers, White Onions And Mozzarella Cheese. 9" 10.95. I wish I had something great to say, but I just don't.I am very sorry about this. As this is not standard for us. I think Showmars has great salads. Consistently fresh greens with warm grilled chicken against the cherry tomatoes, cucumber and crunchy fresh onions. I leave off cheese bc dairy doesn't like me. Served with warm wheat or white pita bread. Service is always good even when busy.

Help is always cheerful and competent. Have had food questions before that the server went back to the kitchen to get an answer for (which is appreciated when you know some servers will just make up an answer) The food is good and portions plentiful. Decor is kinda blah but who cares when you've got a full belly at a reasonable price. Recommended.

My family and I have been here a couple of times. All of the sandwiches are good, weâve had the burgers, reuben, Cheesesteaks, Cuban and my favorite, the French dip. The best thing weâve had tho, are the fried pickles, which are perfectly breaded and cooked perfectly.

We went for trivia and dinner on Tuesday. They also have karaoke on Thursday. The trivia went extremely late due to the restaurants internet being down. Apparently according to other patrons, this has happened before with internet problems. Our food was decent. We had a chicken sandwich which was cooked correctly. A burger which was also good. We split the wings, bbq and xxxhot. The hot lacked heat in my opinion in comparison to the other wing places. They were a decent size. Prices were affordable for beer and food. Overall, I would recommend this place for a fun evening.

There is a new Red Rocks on 521 in Indian Land. It is located within a new center for movie theaters, restaurants and specialty shops. It is not yet in Tripadvisor so I am writing this under the Charlotte (Providence Road). I had to be convinced to go there and was glad I did. The food is excellent and extremely fairly priced; and plenty of it! My wife and the other husband had their three course special for $24. Each ordered the filet medallions with mashed potatoes, and vegetables, along with wonderful salads. I had the Quattro Formaggio and it was superb.Could not finish it. The other wife ordered the mussels of which there were more than plenty, along with garlic toast. The desserts consisted the choice among the variety of delicious cakes. Highly recommended. Draft beer was 2 bucks, wine was reasonably priced as well. It was very hot outdoors, and the air conditioning was ramped up to the point of being uncomfortable.Thank you JM for taking the time to let us know how we did.
