We visited this restaurant as it was our friends' favourite and we had a fabulous evening. The service was friendly and professional, we received some great wine recommendations. The food was excellent, especially the meat dishes - well-prepared and full of flavour. We also received olives, yummy crusty bread and delicious olive oil before the meal to put us in a great mood... Even the dessert was very high standard, just lovely. We will return here very often I hope... highly recommended!

We always love to go to this place. It is classical dining at it's best. Not for a quick supper though. An evening filling experience is what you will get. Really nice to go their with friends because they only have round tables. Make sure to have a reservation, this place is popular.

There are a few round tables with round benches which give a very cosy atmosphere to the dinner party. The other tables are fine as well but maybe a little bit too small for the dishes and drinks.The food is great. Very fresh, and a nice variety of cold sushi and warm oriental bites. The service, so important at a sushi restaurant, was fast, friendly and helpful.Love to come back.

Ever since the place opened up in Best, we have been a regular visitor. The menu changes every now and then but the changes are such that it is hardly noticed. Great choice in several dishes and the quality of the food is always good. The squid is excellent. A great place to have dinner with just couples, friends or bigger groups. It is a popular place so making a reservation is recommended. They do have take out service.

We had a family lunch in the separate Tuinkamer. Airconditioning helped as it was one of the warmer days of the year. After a nice welcome and bubbles, the three course menu (choices for starter, main and desert) was good. Very nice presentation and timely service. The food was good but perhaps somewhat overcomplicated with too many ingredients fighting for recognition. We heard no complaints and everyone enjoyed the beautiful plates. The extra charge for a cheese board instead of sweet desert was a bit excessive but the cheese selection was ok. House wines are priced slightly too high for the quality. The friandises should be changed - the current selection is not great nor are the tastes very well balanced. All in all a very nice lunch and we gladly return. Service is friendly.

I make it a habit to eat at star restaurants every now and then. Just to make sure that I realise how good food should taste.The good:-6 course dinner with wine. Excellent combinantion of wines and food. Nice taste explosions.-trendy tasteful designed interior-service was excellent.-not booked solid 3 months in advance.The bad:-Price. Now I am aware that for these kind of restaurants you need to dig deep in your wallet. But in the end I paid 160 pp which I still think is a lot compared to other star restaurants. The ugly-None

Last week we had dinner here with former colleagues. The formula is a fixed price for various dinner courses. Each course has a choice of 3 small dishes. We made it to the 4th course and for dessert some opted for a nice coffee and the majority chose the chef's dessert. Everything was very tasteful and nicely presented. Staff very wellcoming, helpful and friendly. Will be back with my husband!

We had diner at Bastille with 10 people. Although it was possible to eat a la carte, the host advised us to go for the surprise menu, to avoid long waiting times. Better to know before than to experience during the meal.The quality of the food is very good. Presentation (on the plates) is also very tasteful and original. Perfect to have nice evening with friends, business, etc.The staff is still a bit 'getting used to', but they are friendly, helpful and amicable.I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a long evening dinner with friends or for business.I did not try the lunch menu yet.

We found ourselves at Eindhoven airport on Valentines evening & wanting a special romantic meal looked at trip advisor & were impressed by not only the reviews but also the short distance from the Airport, approx. 5 miles.We were delighted when we arrived, the place was beautiful & food amazing, we started with an an amuse bouche & the most delicious breads followed by lobster bisque & beautifully cooked steak finishing with coffee & the sweets a great coffee & large selection of small desert sweets.We ordered a taxi & whilst waiting enjoyed a drink at the bar which the owner refused payment for.The restaurant is set in beautiful gardens & we cannot wait to return again in the spring.Thank you for making this a truly memorable Valentines evening.

Service is slow and okay. Took him a while to bring us menu. Not as friendly as we would expect from a waiter. Ordered some drinks. Did not try their dinner as we were in a hurry to go back to The Hague. Dear Cherlene,Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
