We did not know this restaurant yet and had a special price through a coupon I bought. Lovely stylish restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. We had a surprise dinner consisting of about 5- 6 courses. Everything was very tasty and looked brilliant. What a chef, all these lovely tasteful dishes and beautifully presented. We had a great evening and will definitely be back!

We were in Veldhoven on Friday. Klijn Kooke apparently have their Friday deal that you get to eat whatever they cooked! We were there when it was Italian. Tomato soup was really good. Then buffet spread on the table. The grilled eggplant wrapped, with tomato and cheese was delicious! Our dessert was limoncello tiramisu which was again, really really good. Staffs were nice. And the atmosphere so cozy! Our two kids of 8 and 10 got to have pannekoek instead of the buffet which the restaurant offered by themselves. Really nice. Our son liked the atmosphere so much he said "this is so cozy it's like we're sitting in someone's house!" And I agree! Definitely highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood. :D

Meneer De Boer is a Breakfast all Day type of place in a gorgeous monumental building, but we also welcome you for lunch! Enjoy our wonderful coffee and tea. Our various breakfasts, soup, salads and 'uitsmijters' are delicious.

This place is small so be prepared for a queue to be seated but it's worth the wait.The coffee is so tasty and the food is perfect, as well as being presented cute!We were greedy and ordered eggs and bacon, grilled ham and cheese sandwich, pancakes and french toast - all were so tasty!! The orange juice is freshly pressed but unfortunately not cold.If you visit eindhoven, you must eat here for a great meal. There are board games too as well as super friendly staff. Amazing experience!Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We are so happy that you had a good time. We have a reason for not cooling the orange juice: the taste is far more richer. Did you ever try the difference? If you still prefer cold juice then let us bring you some ice. Everything can surely be arranged for. We hope to welcome you again with us in the future!!!

We were particularly looking forward to dinner at 1910 based upon the reviews. So many things about this restaurant are great, it has an absolutely wonderful relaxing feel to it, excellent decor and the staff, in particular, the sommelier, were superb. The big disappointment was the menu. Aside from the chefâs choice tasting menu, there were very few options available and of those, not much really caught our fancy. The food itself was well prepared and had some interesting flavours but nothing particularly memorable.Dear sir/madam,Sad to read you had a bit of a disappointment.If I read the overall findings you had a good night. Sorry we could not fulfull all the high expectations.

In the middle of indoor-shopping centre. Nice terraces. Attractive menu-choices (plate service). Food is of good quality. Moderate pricing. Professial service by youngsters. The bread here is terrific, and the sandwiches are robust, but the big thrill of dining here is eating inside an old Dutch windmill. The staff is very nice and quite helpful. The prices are not out of line for Holland. If you're a bread freak and want an authentic Dutch experience, this restaurant is a great place to visit.

The service is slow and inappropriate for business dinner: not discreet at all and regularly interrupting guests, also sometimes for unnecessary questionsPortions are way too small, even for a gastronomic restaurant, To give an idea, we took a main and a dessert, I'm a big guy, but my small slim female colleague joined me to share a kebab after the diner. This was a first for both of us.The place is beautiful, fresh and pleasant, dishes are tasteful but this is expected for that price range)

It is a very nice place, when we were there it was quite crowded, but we managed to get a table without previously booking it. The serving is 5 stars, they bring you the 4 type of steaks they serve, you can choose the meat, than also the knife, and they have some very tasty somked salt. the food is delicious, the waiters friendly. highly recomand this place

Have had the pleasure of enjoying a meal at Truffelaer several times in the past 2-3 years while on business in the Eindhoven area. It seems that Fine and Truffelaer âduke it outâ for the #1 restaurant rating in Veldhoeven. Since the spring, the restaurant has been remodeled/refreshed and the kitchen appears to be somewhat enlarged. The colours are the new modern grey tones, which I find quite relaxing though several in our party of 11 did not like the revised scheme. The main dining area is much more open and pleasant than before (10 of 11 had been before and we all agreed). Several people took the 3 or 4 course surprise menu while the balance of the crew ordered from the menu> this is normally a problem in local restaurants but our server and the kitchen rose to the occasion. Across the board, we were all pleased with our meals. Wine selection by the glass is super and good value for money. The wine list is above average and well priced though the selection could be better in my view.Overall, a very good experience and value for money. Recommend.

Friendly waitress with a lovely smile. Slightly stand offish but attentive waiter. Steak excellent. Veggie dish deep fried and not what I expected or would have chosen. No choice of House wine offered so just asked for white dry wine and took three attempts to get a decent choice but had to pay for first two glasses even though I had not specifically asked for those. All in all a good experience but a bit more hospitality would have made it 5 star!
