I've heard of this restaurant since it opened, just hadn't been in the area. We happened to be in the area and decided to give it a chance. Nice variety of sushi. We go home and we very pleased. The sushi was definitely fresh. Will make it a point to go back.

Magoya Japanese Restaurant

If you like Japanese food and sushi this is the place for you. The restaurant is one of the cleanest restaurants that I have seen. The service is attentive and the sushi creations are just that...creations!! The other dishes that they offer are perfectly prepared and delicious . In summary, this is a really good Japanese joint with many options and great food that will make you crave for more....some of the items on their menu are a little overpriced but it is what it is...

Our dinner this evening was a total disaster. I was clear from the start that there was a shortage of personnel. We waited for someone to take our order, then waited for our drinks. Appetizers arrived...cold. The waitress was gracious about taking them back and the replacements were hot. I had ordered a chicken with cashew on my last visit and enjoyed. I asked if I could have the dish with chicken and shrimp. The problem was the dish came out with white sauce instead of the usual brown sauce. I decided to take it home for my partner to eat at another meal and ordered the original chicken with cashews. Telling my partner to go ahead and eat, we discovered HIS dinner was cold. We sent it back and it was returned just a tad warmer. My second entree arrived, also lukewarm. While we were there, we heard telephone conversations from disgruntled take out service. It was clear the usual staff was on vacation, but what were they thinking leaving their business in such dire straits?
