One day the cooks in this kitchen will find other, more fulfilling employment and this venue will be reworked into something more viable.I cannot disagree with the bulk of the reviews that mention the ungodly noise level ifmore than two people are talking. We were there on a friday night when a party of sixfemale friends got "martini loud". There were only ten people seated and I could barely hear my companion across the table. Not very social.Drinks are average and prices tend to be a little higher than other places in town.Despite our server's confidence in her; the bartender failed to deliver when it came to a simple but specific specialty drink. Rather than send word that all the ingredients were not available before attempting the drink, a poor substitute was sent out. Sending it back, untouched, brought out a nasty "waitress/manager" who demanded to know "was there a problem at this table" while literally leaning into my face. I explained my drink order whereupon she admonished me that it was made exactly according to the distiller's web site-(what fake site she relied on was beyond me since I pulled up the site on my phone to catch her in the lie.)Hardly social. The manager/owner standing at the bar as we were leaving was little or no help. First trying to deny the incident took place but then disolving into silence once I pointed out I had a witness at the table. But then why bother to respond to a customer concern when you already know you will never see that business again, right?

Never been here before, stopped in with my in laws and wife for lunch. When we got there, it wasn't too busy, which was nice. Very weird artwork on the walls, some of which had vulgarity on them which made me laugh. Food was delicious, and their fries alone were enough to be a meal. Place was a bit pricey, but what you got for the price I think was worth it.

The Shop is a cafe, bar and kitchen with a carefully crafted space and menu welcoming friends old and new. We host happy hour on weekdays until 7pm, offer $3 mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays and $15 house wine bottles on Thursdays! We welcome large partie
If you are in area, ya gotta go! It's worth getting off 81 and wendung your way down here. Nice shop, reasonable prices--even on interesting cocktail options--but the crepes are the draw. Swooning for the veggie with herbed cheese crepe! Great selection of savory crepes, retty good for sweer. We shared the blueberry crepe for dessert and it was excellent (pictured)

People that come here should thank your lucky stars. I've eaten in many many restaurants all over this country and the food and value here is second to none. IMHO.We moved out of NY 15 years ago but come back to visit occasionally. When we're in town we try and come here for breakfast as much as we can. The food and waitstaff are top shelf. Lots of regulars come here and we see some every time we come in if we come near the same time. That alone tells you something. Jane is almost always there probably accounting for much about how good this place is. Personally responsible owners not can't be over stated in the success of a business. Bottom line,WE LOVE JANES!

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Had breakfast here with the family on a road trip. The place was very nice and clean. The staff was very nice and it was easy on/off the highway with gas station close by for the ultimate rest stop.

Greater Binghamton's Quintessential Steakhouse Since 1978
Finer dining with some nice choices on the menu. The only bathroom is upstairs which, will take you about 20 steps to get to the 2nd floor. Not accessible by any means. There is a small lower dining area for those that cannot climb the stair case - but even that requires you to step up a few steps to get to that. It's an old fire house so it was not made long ago to accommodate anyone with mobility issues, but they really need to add a bathroom downstairs! Service is wonderful. Food is great. On the pricey side - except to pay $150 plus for 4 people without drinks. Thank you for the excellent review! You're absolutely right about the reasoning behind the layout of the restaurant. We have looked into putting in a bathroom downstairs but it would require taking out a large area of semi-private dining. We are still in talks of doing so, don't lose hope on it just yet! Thank you for the feedback, it's appreciated!!

Doing things just a little bit differently since 2012.
Dawn was serving this particular night and she was great. We had a couple of flights and then a round afterwards. Nice selection of beers. We enjoyed the Pork Shanks, a Salad and a Burger. All nicely prepared and very tasty. There is no real parking for the facility, but there is a large parking garage across the street. If you are there after 9pm you can exit the garage for free as of this writing. An enjoyable evening and we are certain to return when in the area.We love Dawn too! Thanks so much for the great review. Cheers!

Whether it is food, ambiance or service, every restaurant has its own distinctive approach to pleasing its patrons. At Remlik's our intention is to create a welcoming environment where our customers can dine, relax, and socialize all in one place. We have
Started with apps of Calamari and Binghamton Chips with Gorgonzola Cheese, Bacon Bits and Scallions. Dinner was a single Lobster tail and an 18 pack of Steamers. Drinks were a White Zin and Southern Tier 2x IPA. Can't wait to go back.Thank you so much for your great review! Please give us the opportunity to serve you again soon!

This is a family run restaurant in downtown Binghamton. When I go by myself I like to sit at the counter and watch Chris or his son Peter work the grill. The waitresses shout their orders and somehow the cooks keep everything straight. The food comes out fast, hot and delicious. Order bacon & eggs and you get 3 eggs, 6 slices of bacon, a pile of home fries and toast. The tab for that this morning with coffee was $8.05 tax included. The ingredients are all high quality. Lunches are also great. My personal favorite is the hot meatloaf sandwich. Daily specials like chicken & biscuits also great. French fries are great. Whenever I drive through Binghamton I make a point of stopping at Chrisâ for a meal.

Lost Dog Cafe, now in its 21st year is locally owned and operated by Marie McKenna & Elizabeth Hughes. We feature fresh, innovated cuisine that is locally sourced when possible including grass-fed beef, and many gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
We stopped for an early dinner in our travels. It was busy as usual. The waitress was very nice and the food great. Right now they are spicing up most dishes, which made it a little difficult for me. Everything was very fresh and tasty. I had the chicken and it was very good.
