Such a shame - the service was friendly but why you have to pay extra to eat in is ridiculous. The food was very tired and stodgy, the restaurant was messy and grubby. I wouldn't recommend.

I have enjoyed some fabulous meals here over the years and, having been put off by unflattering reviews, I decided to taste test it again for myself. Beef rendang is such a classic dish that I decided to test that fish. The beef was tender, which was good, but it was pale, rather than the usual dark colour from the tamarind and it was so untraditional and under spiced that it could almost have been an English beef stew. Not only did it have no heat but it was hard to detect spices at all. The service was friendly but the food was disappointing.

We eat here often. Sometimes sit in. Other times topped up as required during the day. Brown rice often available if you ask for it.
Not a huge range of dishes, but everything is simple, fresh and delicious. One of our favourite places for lunch in Lismore, and very good value at around $10 a head.

Went here today because only place that wasn't booked out because of Mother's Day. I understand why. "Long soup" was some boiled water with some pepper and noodles, no flavour at all!Chicken was slimy, see through and stringy.. didn't taste at all like chicken. Yuck. On the other hand, fried rice was good, Waitress did a good job, could have smiled a little more though.

Busara and her staff operate out of the smallest kitchen in Lismore but despite the limitations, Ghetto Babe produces the most delicious food! Her pork belly pad thai, curries and noodle dishes are fresh, hot and just the thing to satisfy any appetite. Most dishes are $10 so itâs an ideal spot for a quick cheap and healthy lunch. No wonder thereâs always a crowd eating at the small tables or at the bigger shared table or on stools at the benches.

I checked the Trip Advisor reviews for Thai restaurants in Lismore and "Thai on Carrington" stood out. Our family group was not disappointed. Excellent food with generous servings, good service from friendly staff, pleasant ambience and good prices. My favourite Thai dish, Pad See Ew with prawns was as good as I have tasted anywhere, including Thailand. An excellent choice for Thai dining in Lismore.
