My pork sweet and sour was delicious, tender and plentiful. The service was excellent from a lovely waitress and the meal arived quickly. The decor is very dated but who cares when the food is so good. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely dine here again

The Thai wife and I visited my mother in Leeton and decided to take her to dinner. Having recently visited this restaurant in a big family group and been impressed, my mother insisted we go to this restaurant.I have a recollection that my father had taken me to the same restaurant 47 years ago when I was in late primary school. It was my first Chinese meal; I recall I had chicken chow mein.We settled in and I ordered a beer and water for my mother and wife. We ordered some starters and two main meals. The starters were okay although perhaps the sesame toast was a little oily. However the main meals of Singapore Noodles and Combination Chow Mein were outstanding. The wife and I have lived in Singapore for three years and the Singapore Noodles were as good as you can get there. The beef in the Combination Chow Mein was almost melt in your mouth soft.It was a simple but great meal. The restaurant is very basic but service staff are friendly and attentive. The decor on the walls certainly suggests to me that it was the same restaurant I visited all those years ago. Perhaps I'll return a little quicker next time.While there was several other diners when we left the bulk of the business is takeaway and they were doing a good trade, always a good sign.

We were told the best value for money "eats" are at the Leeton District Bowling Club restaurant. When we walked in on a Fri night and their tables were almost all full, we knew we were in to a good thing! They have a Chinese menu with a few Aussie selections. We enjoyed Aussie mixed grill & veg and Steak & veg. Both very tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, food arrived fairly quickly considering it was a busy night.Highly recommend we will be going back soon.
