My husband and I were looking forward to a decent burger. After a full day skiing. Unfortunately we were left disappointed. There was no option for fish burgers despite the menu. The chicken burgers we ordered were expensive and average (under-seasoned, onion jam too sweet, too much ?aioli). Plus my chicken breast was slightly undercooked. The service was fine. To top it all off there was a credit card fee which did not correspond to the 1.5% stated by the waiter. Will not return. Would not recommend.

Ordered the French onion soup today. What arrived was a bowl of brown, thick, gelatinised, luke-warmfatty gloop. No other way to describe this. Was like pig swill. I sent it back and asked them to thin it down (so that I could at least use a spoon) and heat it up. They did. Not much better. If you can remember your mum adding Gravox powder to the fat from a roast, just throw in lots of onion and that's pretty much what they served up. Prison food would even be better. Best avoided.

A day in Thredbo wouldn't be the same without a stop or two at Black Sallees. Great beer and bar selection. Good food to fuel you for the slopes and a warm welcoming real fire place. Not to mention the perfect view.

Come for a drink, don't bother eating as the food is foul! The worst crap you could possibly imagine. If a pub can't even serve a nice plate of French fries you know it's going to be bad.
