Popular restaurant but considering the crowds, kids' meals and entrees came out quickly. Kids' meals were generous portions. Good value for money. The cheesy garlic bread was delicious. Wide range in menu options, including pizzas. Lots of people and noise in the beer garden, but seated inside, the noise did not bother us.

Been going to Barham for over 20 years and this place has The best food by a mile! We were in Barham for 4 nights and on this occasion ate at The Royal on 3 nights. Had one of the $15 specials on each occasion. Lamb souvlaki, hot rocks rump and ribs. Wow on each one but you need to be hungry!! Any other time spent in the bar was most enjoyable with the locals and all staff meaning we will always return. Special mention to Julie who has always made us feel welcome, as have all the staff! We will definitely be back when our travels take us back to Barham.

Me and my fiancé visited this coffee shop on a recommendation, I had a cappuccino and a chocolate cheesecake. Absolutely lovely was the cheesecake highly recommended, friendly staff and quirky shop, I believe you can purchase some of the art work in there and it was very good art work :) no good for us as we are travelling back to England next week, but very good service :D highly recommended. Hey guys! Thanks so much for the review and thanks for taking the time to visit. Hope to see you both around these parts again!

A short walk from, and highly recommended by, the Murray Waters Motel, The Long Paddock was a convenient spot for a really tasty breakfast. The menu offers some wonderful dishes and I was feeling rather spoilt for choice (guess I’ll have to go back to work my way through my favourites!) We both settled on the Sunshine Breakfast, a variation on Eggs Benedict: a large, thick slab of grainy sourdough toast was topped with two perfectly poached eggs, a good covering of Hollandaise with a plentiful serving of delicious bacon on the side. Service was very friendly and very quick. Great coffee rounded out the meal. The only (very minor) drawback is that Long Paddock doesn’t open till 8.30am…so lots of people departing town early would miss out on this tasty experience.
