"Mary Janes" offers traditional Australian cuisine with an urban style influence. Its diverse menu caters for all palates- From inspirational meals to creative desserts.
Kelly's Rugby Hotel, after serving the Orange community for more than 90 years, has been bought, and all closed including Mary Jane's restaurant, with the exception of the bottle shop. Vale to another part of Orange's history and tradition, known to many as "The Vatican" including Sir Charles Cutler who was part of the Friday night "Bob-in Club" where everyone put a "bob" (ie 1 shilling or about 10 cents) on the bar to pay for drinks - obviously a long time go at that price.
Sunday lunch on the deck, soaking up the sunshine. Reasonably priced meals with variety. Fish of the day was salmon, well cooked and very tasty. Wine list isn't overpriced like many competitors in Orange. Enjoyable afternoon. Great outdoor eating venue.Thank you for your review, yes it is a fantastic view and we pride ourselves on providing a tasty well prepared menu for our guests, as well as offering local wines at an affordable price. We look forward to being of service to you in the future.

Dinner for four on a Friday night to a restaurant that was great 5 years ago a big mistake. Setup and laminex tables from a past era and basic. Food was very very ordinary at best. Service was well below standard and the waitresses were not knowledgeable on the meals or drinks. This is a cheap eats only restaurant. We would never return.Thank you for your review. We will use this information to improve our service and performance. Please note the hotel will be undergoing a refurbishment soon which will include the restaurant.

We visited Kelly's Rugby Hotel today,& we knew we had chosen the right place as soon as we entered, the hotel is spotlessly clean. The restaurant is upstairs, where there is a gas log fire to warm yourself as it was freezing in Orange. The restaurant is large & tastefully furnished, & as I've already stated, clean. We usually go by the garlic bread as to how the meal will be, & it came out, piping hot & delicious. My husband had the roast of the day, a lamb roast & it had plenty of tender lamb, vegetables, gravy & mint jelly. It was faultless. I chose tempura perch, & was given 3 fillets, with a mandarine dressing a great salad, not the usual generic salad, with a dressing just right. The only slight hitch was that the waiter wasn't very friendly, but he may have been having an off day. We will definitely be back again when we are in Orange again.

We spent a pleasant couple of hours here on Sunday afternoon enjoying the acoustic performance and people watching. This is a great space with lots of bars and food outlets. Even a great place to take small children. Well worth visiting.

Slowly making my way through the menu with lunches at least once a month.Food is always good.Schnitzel and crumbed cutlets are my favourite.Lots of seating, always busy.Closed for lunch Monday - Wednesdays which is disappointing, I'm not a fan of the new Greenhouse upstairs so I eat at the café if I'm there those days.

Not first visit.Seems very popular. Nice setting noticed had kids area.Ordered $35 T bone. Was good serving of veggies. Mash was dry and obviously been sitting for a while. Steak was half fat half meat and all tough. Also had garlic pizza for entree this was good.Pint of pale ale was $11.50 which I thought was a joke. This place is bassicly a a pub but prices are not pub prices.

The Lord Anson is Orange's 21st Century answer to the traditional English pub. Offering a classic, laid-back pub atmosphere, The Lord Anson features a front sports bar, booths and tables for dining, an extensive range of craft beers and ciders alongside a
Cosy and warm, this hotel provided a great respite from the winter temperature outside. Lovely atmosphere. Great staff. Happy hour wine prices. Every night thereâs a dinner special. We had fish and chips. Fabulous! Great thin crispy batter and juicy fish. Salad and chip accompaniments. Highly recommend!

There is a printed menu but have a daily blackboard menu were you get to try many of the chef's dishes
We opted for the luxury king room because I imagined a country town pub/hotel to have shared bathroom down the hall but was very pleasantly surprised to walk into a lovely big room with en suite and fluffy white towels. The king sized bed was firm and comfortable. The aircon was effective although a little noisy although the room was really quiet. Breakfast was included in the price which was an individually cooked bacon eggs tomato or any cooked variety. I would definitely recommend staying here. Not at all like imagined. I would definitely stay here again
