I have taken food out occasionally from Precious Chinese in Riverdale, NJ, but last week, decided to sit down for lunch. My server brought a menu, but no crispy noodles, no duck sauce, no hot mustard, and no tea, amenities that are almost always present in any Chinese restaurant in which I have eaten. When I asked why I didn't get these little niceties, the server responded, but I couldn't understand what she said. I maintain that people who come to this country to live and work should learn our language adequately so they can be understood.And I didn't even get a fortune cookie when finished. What's up with that?I ordered shrimp with black bean sauce, very hot and spicy. The dish was anything but. It was pretty bland, and the brown sauce was gloppy and thick. It tasted alright, but was nothing to write home about. I've had much better Chinese.When I was done, I went to the men's room, and discovered that it was very shabby and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. They could do much better in the cleanliness area. The restaurant's decor is decidedly old hat, no frills, and could use a facelift as well. I have a much better Chinese restaurant I can go to in the area when in the mood for Asian. I think Precious has seen the last of me. The best rating I can give Precious is average, and that's being generous.

Got the Groupon so give this one a try and it was a horrible experience. Location: If you drive along Rte 23 N you will never find this restaurant unless you pay attention to the number sign. It was just next to Kohl's Mall. Food and service: Only a waitress there, take order, serve the food and also answer phone order. Food was blend and the presentation even worst. Decor: was okHowever will never go back again.

This is your average strip mall Chinese. Mostly nothing special. However they have a couple of dishes I like a lot. Their Seafood Soup is a fresh tasting simple broth with Shrimp, Scallops, Snow peas, Egg White, etc. They also always have a very good special Chicken and Chinese Eggplant with Garlic Sauce. It is one of the few places where I routinely get the same dishes every time.

When it opened, it was excellent. Yes, all these buffets seem about the same, But this was better than most. The food was delicious. Now, it is not excellent and is just like the rest--kind of good food, nice variety. The hot food that I got was very warm, and they didn't replenish the trays often enough. I had to ask twice for one of the entrees. The price is the usual. It was ok, but I am not sure I'll go back. For the price, I can go to a sit-down restaurant and be served. I can do without all the entrees choices.

Pizza and Chinese food are my two favorites when on the road. Both are quick and satisfying. I noticed the sign for this establishment while driving down the road. Standard Metro NY Area Chinese take out with a counter, view of the kitchen, tri-fold menu and little or no seating. They took my order promptly. I had Chicken and Broccoli with Fried Rice. A nice size portion in a round white container with lid. I chose the soda to go with my lunch special. No complaints. It was quick, hot and prepared freshly for me. I enjoyed the complimentary packets of hot mustard with my lunch. They are located in a strip mall so there should be ample parking. I will visit again when in the area.

I have eaten here several times and the food is always very good. My mother always gets the mango chicken and really enjoys it. This time, we went in because it was open later than most other places nearby. My boyfriend got miso salmon, and he thought it was great. I ordered the sesame noodles appetizer. I asked if they were hot-spicy and she eventually said no. I asked the waitress how large it would be and she thought I meant the noodle size. I clarified that I meant the portion size and she said small. Communication was difficult but she encouraged me to order more. So, I ordered dumplings as well. The noodles turned out to be piled high on a large plate. They were delicious, with no hot spice. My mother and boyfriend took substantial portions to try. There was still so much that I was full when I finished the noodles. The dumplings turned out to be too hot-spicy for me, plus I was stuffed. I wish the waitress had said they were spicy, since I had expressed concern about that with the noodles. Luckily my boyfriend liked them and he finished them off. One warning is that they did close right at closing time. We were wrapping up then and my mother opted then to get the rest of her mango chicken (about half) boxed to go so she could finish it at home rather than feel rushed.

I was told that Wayne has no good Chinese restaurants... except for one located near The Willowbrook Mall. Not being in the mood for the mall on a Saturday afternoon I consulted Trip Advisor and based upon the good reviews, selected Golden China Kitchen in nearby Pequannock. GCK has everything I look for in a good take-out restaurant. Itâs located in a town (rather than a strip mall.) Thereâs plenty of parking. Their menu has the typical Chinese food I want - not hipster fusion food. The service was fast, the prices were right. I picked up my food and went on my merry way in no time at all. Everyone in my group was happy. I got the moo shoo pork. Yum.I will certainly return. The only thing missing: no fortune cookies!

Went with group of 7 on a Sat. nite. Had to wait a while for our table- they don't take reservations, which is somewhat of a negative, but once we finally were seated (after another group rudely lounged around at the table long after their tab was settled) the food and service were outstanding and for reasonable prices. The egg rolls are the best and the range and taste of sushi selections outstanding. Service was well paced, we weren't rushed even though it was crowded. Despite the crowd, noise levels and spacing were fine.
