Tommyâs Tavern + Tap 3492 US Hwy 9, Freehold, NJ 0772 In the greater general area more-or-less, of around, about,+/- 79; 33; Schank Rd; 534; Jackson Mills Road, and there-abouts +/-Looks like the ânew kid on the blockâ just might just realistically be the new strong contender for nosing-out âall-the-othersâ for the coveted Title of The Best Sports Bar & Restaurant in the local area of Freehold Township? You will not have to bring your patience if you choose to wait for an Inside-Table inside their nifty indoor eatery, because you just might choose to stay outside in their different-novel OUTDOOR "Ambiance" area, in their rear-area, in the back. It has great REAL drinks, and great food, same as the inside. But outside has palm trees, and, string-lights that, all, will really help you forget about that really, really, very, long, long wait-time to âget-insideâ.I saw many opt to stay in their quite interesting Rear Area. Both inside and outside, you can have sushi or you can have a sandwich. Tommyâs has anywhere from gourmet pizza to âbar-type foodâ at the bar, table, or outside. You can try something new every time. Loaded nachos; buffalo chicken salad with buffalo sauce; in that enjoyable back area or inside. Donât let the price tag throw you as you get Hefty Plates of food with a whole bunch of different versions of drinks and an impressive array of beer on tap to choose fromâ¦. PLUS friendly, cheery, Table Servers.... All that will make it well worthwhile to give Tommyâs on Route 9 in Freehold a try to convince you to go back again. Remember, it still might be crowded enough that you might not even get âright- intoâ their OPEN AIR REAR AREA, either, for quite a spell. Next-time we are in this local area, we are definitely going to give it another whirl.

Had dinner with friends and it was superb. The wives split a lobster wonton app and loved it. My buddy had his favorite, the wedge salad, excellent and I had heirloom tomatoes with onions and mozzarella that was delicious. My buddy and I both had the short rib dinner and the wives had the shrimp over angel hair. Everyone was totally satisfied with the meal. The food was prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. The taste was as good as it gets.I read reviews complaining about price, might I remind people that you usually get what you pay for and this meal was well worth what we paid and maybe more. Our server Davison was outstanding and provided excellent service and a totally positive experience.

Tre offers an affordable casual Italian menu featuring the best fresh artisanal ingredients for their classically prepared dishes. Using an old world brick oven, customers will enjoy authentic Neapolitan style pizza, and an extensive selection of craft be
This place has taken a nose dive. Second 1 star review now. Service is extremely slow and little to no clean up after each course. Just piles of dishes on table. The food unfortunately, has been suffering. They changed the menu taking off some of their best items like clams in bowl of broth. We had clams oregonata, which was ridiculously salty, calamari was edible but some pieces where undercooked with little flavor. The entree's have gone from great to bad over the year. Their shrimp scampi over linguini tastes like water of linguini. I told manager he should serve this if they can't make it taste well. Couple this with a very loud, unappealing bar atmosphere and you have no reason to go back. If the food was great maybe you deal with the atmosphere but bad food, worse service and and tasteless atmosphere all points to "I'm done with this place."

My wife, nephew and his girlfriend had supper last night. The food was very good, very nice presentation, our server was great! The lobster rav could have used more sauce. The sauce was a bit skimpy. Tomato caprese could have been a little more. The main meal of salmon and pasta was okay.

While the food was good, the honey mustard dressing for my salad was the WORST I have ever had....they used a hot spicy mustard that made the whole salad hot.....the service was just average, and it was a Wednesday evening and the place was not crowded, but it was very noisy.

I was there having a drink and burger and felt terrible for this poor sales women selling some kind of cocktails machines. It wasn't even busy and the owner was just terribly rude for no reason. Women was being very polite but I felt bad for how she was treated. I just don't like places where people aren't nice - especially the owner. Well this is now on my list. Foods is just so so anyways. Much better places near by and cheaper.

Stopped back in because we hadn't been here in eons. We ate in the bar and there were a lot of decent options on the menu. I had the chicken balsamic panini, which they made for me without the balsamic glaze. It was good, but I think it would have been better if the chicken was seasoned. My wife had the turkey reuben, which was good, but the turkey was luke warm; not hot nor cold. The bartender who served us was friendly, checked back to see how things were and didn't auction off the food. Prices are not bad.
