This diner only gets business because of the notoriety from "Friday the 13th." We came to experience, but the service was horrendous. They jam as many people as they possible can into the restaurant with no respect for patrons. (I was sitting in a booth and people were constantly bumping into my elbows as they were waiting on a line inside since the restaurant sells t-shirts as a gimmick.) The food wasn't good and diner doesn't take charge cards.We're sorry that your experience was not to your expectations. What Friday the 13th did you visit? We are under new ownership and the only Friday the 13th we've managed was September 13, 2019, from our fans it was very successful. We now take ALL MAJOR credit cards and have made many update & renovations. We invite you to please join us again to see if we can change your mind.

Live in the area and been by several times. Decided to stop for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. My wife had the omelette special and I had the eggs benedict. Both were very good and large portions. Homes fries took up half the plate and were very tasty. Service was fast, friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return.

Outstanding breakfast food experience. We arrived at 1130 AM and ordered breakfast. I'm gluten-free and had the Southwest Omelette substituted Swiss Cheese for the Pepperjack and home fries ($8.49) and coffee ($1.89). My husband ordered the Breakfast Combo: 2 pancakes, 2 slices of bacon, hashbrowns, and 2 eggs over medium ($7.99) and a glass of water. He said the pancakes were very good. My omelette was HUGE and stuffed with sausage, onion, green peppers, tomatoes, cheese, and melted cheese on top. It was so big I ate a 1/3 and took the remaining home along with 1/2 the potatoes. I had 2 more meals on that! Our total bill with tax was $19.47. Debbie O was our consummate server. She brewed a new pot of decaf coffee for me and came frequently to top it off. She filled the water glasses without us having to ask and brought whatever we requested lickety-split! Superb service, great food, patriotic decor. This is a must stop whenever in Bushkill or East Stroudsburg, PA. Plenty of parking for our big truck (F350 dually) too.

Our waitress was super happy. Food was good. We got the chocolate waffle and it was really dry. At least they offer REAL strawberries and the syrupy in a jar kind. My little one likes REAL strawberries. Coffee is acceptable. Bacon was amazing. It's disappointing that your chocolate waffles came out dry and I'm sorry about that. I'm happy you and your little one enjoyed the rest of your dining experience. I hope to be seeing you around soon.Thank you,Compton, Chef/Owner

Been coming here for years and years and any time Iâm in the area I stop in for some simple cookinâ and plenty of it. The portions are always huge and food is always good....not fancy by any means but it fills the stomach. I love the liver and onions or the Hot Roast Beef sandwich! The service is always good especially if you take a moment to talk to the staff. They respond in kind. More than 50 years going there and itâs always good, simple food.
