Very cozy store front on a side street in New Hope- where you can get a great meal and stroll through town and soak up the atmosphere.

Although menu is diverse and fresh, it is a bit on the very small side and you will be almost elbow to elbow with your dining companions! So if scaled down isn't your cuppa tea this place might not be for you. But definitely worth a try!

Went here last weekend while in the area for business. It's a small, quaint place. The first thing that'll hit you is the smell... it's heavenly good. The waffle smell fills the shoppe with a powerful, unescapable aroma that almost adds calories and inches to your waist by inhaling it.

The ice cream was decent... nothing special. It's the hot waffle "bed" that makes this an irresistible combo. The staff was young and got our order right. They have coffee, too. Give it a shot.

My wife and I dined at this cozy French BYOB last night. On street parking in Lambertville requires quarters so we parked a block away in Lambertville Station (which probably is not allowed). This is a prize fixe restaurant with three courses for $45 plus tax. No credit cards accepted. My wife had an arugula salad and shaved reggiano cheese and toasted hazelnuts, chicken with garlic, lemon and sage and topped it off with a chocolate pot de crepe with whipped cream. She enjoyed it all. I chose the lemon and crab risotto, Scottish salmon with herd sauce, Brussels sprout leaves and savory wild mushrooms and finally sautéed berries over vanilla ice cream. The salmon was cooked perfectly with a great sauce and I have never had a better mushroom! Portions were not petite as is often the case with French restaurants. Our waitress was efficient, friendly and attentive. It will be a stop for future trips to this area.

Owowcow Creamery

Reviewed By Renee S - Lambertville, New Jersey

OWowCow is a delicious addition to Lambertville's ice cream scene. The ice cream is really flawless. The flavors rotate, with lots of seasonal additions to the menu. Like everything, it's a matter of taste, but the Cashew Caramel is a stand-out. I enjoy the Sweet Buttered corn in the summer as well as SunButter & Jelly and Green Tea, but Dirk won't touch those. Interestingly, they recently announced that they are suspending production of their single-source vanilla ice creams (Madagascar, Indonesian and Tahitian) due to a vanilla shortage and moving to a single blended product. They also have sorbet for those who don't do dairy. The portions are actually quite generous (2 scoops = kiddie size) and there is an unadvertised "dollar scoop" option for loyal local patrons. The ice cream is a little melty, so grab extra napkins.

I'm not going to mislead you -- the lines are long, particularly on the weekend evenings. Part of the problem is that people abuse the generous tasting policy and don't move to the left (toward the cash register) while their ice cream is being prepared. Another issue is that the store does not have a board that displays all of the flavors that are currently being served, so you can't think about what you might want while you stand in line. Even with good vision, you'd have to be able to see through the patrons standing in front of the case. So my suggestion is to put up a display board with the current flavors.

You can get pints, quarts, ice cream sandwiches and cakes to go. CASH ONLY, no credit cards.

One of the best French bakeries in Pennsylvania. This is a true New Hope hidden gem. Off the Main Street, down an alley, don't miss this one. It reminds me of my favorite little bakery in Lyon!
Great pastries, cakes, croissants, pies and cookies.
But don't forget, they do great quiche and French sandwiches. Great place for a quick lunch! On a summer day you can eat outside on the patio near the Delaware River.
When you visit New Hope, stop by for a éclair on the go!

My friend and I decided on a trip to Lambertville and this was recommended by a colleague. We shared an heirloom tomato salad which was probably two days too ripe. Flavor was good but presentation could have been better. We also shared a langoustine in puff pastry and the recommended salmon. Portions were on the smaller side. Could have had a few more vegetables on the salmon plate. Flavors were nice though. We each ordered coffee and shared a chocolate praline dessert which was yummy. All in all, nice service and setting and good food. For the cost, I feel the plating could have had more.

Our second visit here.
great Philly cheese steaks
Had a delicious soup and home made pear cobbler that was out of this world.

It could use a sprucing up and good cleaning. Ladies room leaves a little to be desired.

Service was excellent. Prices very reasonable.

El Tule Authentic Mexican & Peruvian Restaurant

The love of family, friends and great food is a tradition for the Egoavils.Having relocated to the United States from Peru in 1992, they sought the opportunities their new home offered. El Tule was previously the home of another restaurant offering Mexican fare. The Egoavil Family has infused the eatery with a vibe all its own. El-Tule’s Mexican-Latin fusion includes traditional Mexican offerings as well as the addition of Peruvian menu items. Peruvian food has been gaining momentum among foodies across the nation, and prior to El Tule was extremely hard to find in the Delaware Valley. El Tule offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Guests may bring their own wine or alcohol of choice. Our patio is dog friendly. *Taco Tuesdays* $3 Tacos Mix & Match ... Pollo, carne asada, al pastor, chorizo, sudadero, vegetable ... Add $1 for shrimp and red snapper tacos - minimum of 2 for offer. ... *Local Wednesday* Ask for our Prix fixe three course $25

Return after 3 years. Upgraded rating. We started with the tostones fusion app of fried plantains topped with ceviche. Filling for two people, very good. Then the Peruvian lamb stew, carapulcra pork stew, and picante de camarones [shrimp]. We shared and had trouble deciding which was best. Good service. All in all, very lovely evening.

We ate here before attending a show at the playhouse. Service was very slow, food was good, but overpriced. Decent selection of beer, but not mixed drinks. Might be good for drinks, but not dinner before a show...Being a local, I probably would not come here again.
