Greater Napanee is a town in Southeastern Ontario, Canada, approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi) west of Kingston and the county seat of Lennox and Addington County. Greater Napanee municipality was created by amalgamating the old Town of Napanee with the townships of Adolphustown, North and South Fredericksburgh, and Richmond in 1999. We serve homemade creamy coleslaw, tartar sauce, and daily soups. The chef prepares fresh homemade Clam Chowder daily. Our appetizers include Steamed Mussels in a Thai Curry Sauce, and Escargot. We feature a fresh fish entree every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Nights. As well as a fresh Seafood Linguine with Shrimp, Scallops, and Mussels as a daily feature. For customers not wanting fish and seafood, we offer a complete menu including authentic Greek Souvlaki, Steaks, Homemade Burgers, Liver & Onions, Wraps, Salads, etc. Children 10 & Under can choose one of their own entrees from the kids menu, and Eat Free on Sundays with the purchase of an accompanying adult entree.

Had dinner last night on a family recommendation. Had the Halibut w/fries, the piece looked large but was quite bready. No complaints just found everything as a whole to be very average/average tasting which went against the positive feedback received.
Will try again in the future to see if experience is better than this time.

By far the best egg roles and chicken chow mein I've ever had anywhere. The restaurant has been there for years with its own authentic grill flavour that can't be dublicated. The Secret is the fresh juicey beansprouts in the eggroles not your cheap cabbage filler most Chinese food restaurants use. Chow mein is full of flavour wow so tasty and fresh. The chicken fried rice and chicken balls are also really good here. I've been eating here for over 20 years delicious. Friday and Saturday nights I find the best.

I ordered the Santa Fe salad from the lunch menu. The female staff member was very friendly and accomodating to my dietary restrictions. It was delicious! My co worker got the burrito and we could not believe the size of it, plus you get a beverage for $5.50! Salad was around $9 with beverage included. Love that it is family owned and operated and we will definitely be back!

There is something special about La Pizzeria, "home of Avril Lavigne's favourite pizza" in Napanee Ontario.
No one has written it yet so let me share the details.
If you are a fan and would like to write Avril, the best way is to visit this nice little shoppe. There are posters and snap shots of Avril plus a chair claimed to be "Avril's chair" where she sat to eat in or waited for pick up. Best of all are the lovely owners and their family, who often talk of Avril, just as if she were their own daughter.
Now for the secret... it is an 8" x 10" black book with lined paper. Here in this very book you can write a message or poem, a short story or joke to Avril. You can create a drawing or whatever your heart desires. Visitors from all over the world have written little tidbits and snipits of notes to Avril, they have told her how wonderful her music is, asked questions about her rock star life and so on. These books are truly an inspiration for any fan to read and write in, and my family and I wrote little messages to Avril when we dined here for lunch a few months ago.
There were cartoons, letters from as far away as Japan and all sorts of wonderful little notations for the star to read. I was personally touched just holding the book, especially when I learned of the opportunity to write in it, well that delighted me even more as I love Avril's music and the fact she is Canadian. My children also included notes while hubby drew a picture of Avril strumming on her guitar. The point is, after this book gets filled up another same sized black book appears on the counter. I am told that once seven or eight books are completely filled up is usually around the time Avril stops on by for a visit and collects the books to bring home. I can just imagine her snuggled up in her room leisurely Reading all the fine things written about by fans the world over.
By the way we did have pizza and subs. The kids couldn't eat all their pizzas due to the enormous size and as for the sub, it was fresh and tasty and gobbled up!

The Royal Coachman is one of Napanee's oldest Restaurants. Table service with linen. Serves great chicken and steak entree's. Also serves a seafood buffet four times a month.

Yes, it's true the menu is not budget friendly but the service and food are worth splurging for. We went here as a group of three and had a lovely three course meal. Everything we had was top notch: escargots, scallops, ribs and filet mignon. We were too full for dessert but completely satisfied with our meals. I hope to go back and try the seafood buffet one day.
So if you'd like to spoil yourself or celebrate an important occasion add this spot to your list!

Service was friendly. Wasn't impressed with the bison meal, but server made amends so I was satisfied. Convenient when you.stay across the street. Also had a breakfast and it was acceptable, but nothing special. Prices are a little bit high for what you get.

We visit this place as often as possible and have enjoyed every drink or bite to eat. Very attractive and comfortable environment and they offer delightful options. Am liking the unique restroom facilities. Plenty of parking and a great visit any season or time of day.

We met friends at Shoeless Joe's recently for lunch. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty too. Our meal was relaxing and we were able to enjoy a good visit without feeling we were being rushed to finish our meal. The food is typical sports bar fare, nothing special but a good variety for different tastes. We would eat at this restaurant again.

If you are looking for great homemade food with large portions this is your Pub. We always offer great lunch, and dinner specials. Our menu is british pub fare, with large vegetarian options, catering for small or large groups and a private back room for special occasions. We have live entertainment on Saturday's. This was a handy place to stop and eat in the midst of shopping in Napanee. You can even shop while you eat! Portions are huge so, you might want to consider sharing with your shopping buddy.We have take out containers if you don't want to share? LOL!
