A quaint inviting hotel, The Woodstock Resort lies in the heart of the Naldehra countryside, surrounded by deodar forests. Besides beautiful vistas, the hotel offers calm and solitude. It is the perfect place to reconnect with nature away from the chaos and clutter of towns and cities. The 14 rooms in the hotel are extremely modern and cosy. Divided into 9 deluxe rooms, 3 super deluxe rooms and 2 family suites, the rooms feature a study table, sofa chair with center table, cabinet, mirror on the wall, double bed, cable television and cupboard. While the super deluxe rooms are larger in size than the deluxe rooms, the family suites enjoy additional facilities like a separate living room with an attached balcony. Each room has large windows that offer a view of the surrounding forest area and lush countryside. Washroom amenities are the same across categories and include soap and linen. For the convenience of guests, hot water is supplied round the clock.

Reviewed By nomadtribalWe recently travelled with family for a vacation and decided to choose Woodstock Naldehra as our destination. The resort is located very close to the world famous Naldehra Golf Course and has stunning views from the property which is surrounded by lush Cedar trees. We enjoyed trekking and jungle walks in the vicinity. The best part of this property is its location which is very private, quiet and peaceful. No traffic, pollution and noises. This is a perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, listen to birds chirping and yes don't forget to watch the stunning sunset views from the outside patio. Even in the month of may we required a light jacket in the evenings because this place stays very cool and pleasant. Narender, the manager was extremely helpful and he gave us the best service and guided us everyday. The staff was very courteous and friendly and went out of the way to please us. They serve very good Indian and Chinese food, you must also try their Pastas. All in all it was a memorable trip. Thanks to the Woodstock Team, we shall come back again.

Reviewed By Shrutisood20When I used to hear shimla I only thought about the crowded city at the peak season. But when I found this hotel after being referred by a friend I was so glad. Being from delhi this hotel really appealed to me. Settled right in the valleys- and giving the view of the valleys. Sometimes the clouds pass from the windows of your rooms. The rooms are very well maintained and very spacious. The food is really yummy. This calm and peaceful hotel is really a must visit. We also used to go for walks towards naldehra in the mornings and how i cherished that atmosphere. The owners of the property are involved and after interacting with them it seems they are taking steps each day to enhance guest experience and expand the property. Very good hotel in this price and great location.

Thank you Nikhil, Anu and Chef Jatin for taking care of all our requests and making us feel comfortable. Away from the hustle bustle of commercial hotels this is truly a peaceful abode equipped with all the luxurious amenities. The restaurant Bocamario is a cute little structure that indeed reminds you of a fairy tale. Thank you Chef for the scrumptious food served every day as per our choice. We travelled with a child and she thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

For already wandering through galaxially vast internet to land here, your stars are aligned for good, or, as rightly said by the lovely hostess Rita; ‘you need to be lucky to find this place’. This place has magic of charm, and unfortunately, I ain’t no master of literature to attempt to describe the beauty and serenity of this place. Those Disney type fantasy movies ought to be inspired from here, or, lord Vishwa Karma who designed Indraprastha in Mahabharat epic guided Rita to build up this place from scratch. We visited in the second week of September with rains, clouds and mist. Oh man! The breakfast shed - what an experience; The dinner setting - orgasmicly awesome. The staff- Mr Kedar, Negi and the cook; their happy faces, extending hospitality on every step, keeping our kids busy and happy…. Rita offering single malt from her personal collection…. woods to keep us warm. Cant be thankful enough….. The freshly prepared food…. Muahh!!!! Go enjoy and make lovely memories. The memories still bring breeze of comfort and smile on my wife’s face; cant ask for more! Downer- Rita promised to spend an evening with us over a bonfire, drinks and the life experiences….. but supposedly we weren’t lucky enough to taste the last cherry in the cocktail. PS - I omitted ‘mam’ from ‘Rita mam’ after much hesitation. Rita mam, please don’t mind.

7. Nishal Homestay
We are located in Naldehra 22km ahead from shimla in shimla tatapani road. We are 650 mtrs inside the forest from main road, so 10-15 minute walk is required. Our location is surrounded with devdar trees in the top of the mountain. You can view mountain range and deep valley and snow hills. We provide attached toilet-bath, hot and cold water. We provide kitchen in selected rooms for self cooking. We provide home made food on order, room service is available. We have very peaceful area away from noise, air, water and soil pollution. We have an open area around with no disturbance. We arrange bonfire on request and you can enjoy in the open area. Smart TV and 20mbps hotspot internet connectivity is also available.
