In the tradition of small but great alpine restaurants owned & run by small families... Le Vin Sur Table stands out in Hakuba Valley. It's tiny (four tables) but you are treated like royalty. Good Food, Good Wines and incredible value so well worth stumbling in the dark looking for it after we left the well lit Route 148. Am looking forward to going again as it was much easier on the pocket than some of its big brothers in Happo & Wadano. Definitely on my must visit list.

Unfriendly staff, food is underwhelming. On the other hand, not much worse than other so called restaurants in the slopes of Hakuba.

Wonderful full service fine dining restaurant. A bit pricey but was worth it for a special occasion. Recommend the crepe suzette, the kids loved watching them make them by the table.Thank you very much for using our restaurant! This is the only restaurant in Hakuba valley where guests are able to enjoy the performance of crepe suzette, so we are very happy to hear that your children enjoyed it.We also have a Japanese restaurant so you may try Japanese food next time too.
