Reviewed By 258brianfEasy to find in the middle of the town of Naestved. Parking is very easy. Check in is friendly and fast. The Hotel is very nice and historical, and the atmosphere is excellent. Rooms in the newly renovated building, is kept in the line of the main building. Great, and with everything you need for either business or pleasure. Excellent breakfast with everything you need. However, you have to boil your own eggs. Excellent WiFi.

Lovely place with lovely hosts
Reviewed By rebeccabolteThis place was wonderful for a little family getaway. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and easy to get hold of. The setting is pretty with flowers in the courtyard and views of the water, fields, huge windmills, and woodlands. We were impressed to see a white tailed eagle one day (the host came and pointed it out). The rooms are basic but comfortable and had everything we needed including a child's cot and high chair. In general Quistgaarden had good facilities for both younger and older visitors: We enjoyed the sand box, the trampolines, the outdoor seating, the indoor jacuzzi, and the common kitchen. We also loved meeting the very friendly dog and enjoyed occasional glimpses of the barn cat. We rented a bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom as well as a whole small apartment located in another part of the building. In the apartment we had a small kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms for our exclusive use, which was perfect to create a comfortable, safe setting for my mother, who has Alzheimer's (she stayed there with another family member). The hosts provided lots of useful information and recommendations about the local area and were very flexible and helpful to us given our special slightly complicated family situation. Definitely recommended for a tranquil stay.

Reviewed By PairADoxCycleExcellent location along the bicycle trail . Reception was exceptional. Young lady was extremely helpful and friendly. She was actually our server for the very good and reasonably priced Thursday Nite Steak Special at the on-site restaurant and here too , she was excellent. Good secure bike storage . Room was quite large , had several windows and was very clean . Bathroom clean and bright . Breakfast was good , not overwhelming but good .

We celebrated a family birthday spending a full day in the wonderful surroundings - talking long walks in the forrest, playing games and enjoying the cosy lounge on front of the fireplace. Lunch and dinner was exceptionally tasty, largely vegetarian - absolutely to die for! Would love to come back

Very clean rooms
Reviewed By hillbillymansionThis was the perfect place for our group of six. We have three rooms and all were clean with nice bedding. We had traveled to Denmark for a wedding from America and were so happy with the location of the hostel. The church was less than 5 minute walk and the family of the bride lived a 15 minute walk. We would stay here again. Everything one would need is there to use, like an iron to press your clothes. The grounds are very nice and will cared for and it was a quiet place to rest after a long day of sightseeing.

Central location, difficult parking

When arriving saturday evening all parking spaces closeby were occupied, we finally found space about 10 min away. The rom was nice, maybe a bit outdated, located directly under the roof, it was very warm, even the weather wasn't. The staff was friendly and breakfast good, Wifi worked fine.

Reviewed By Thorunn69Meget idyllisk lille sted udenfor Næstved med super hyggelige værelser. Der var ultra rent på både værelser og badeværelse og senge/dyne/puder/sengetøj var rigtig godt. Meget knirkende gulve og døre (detalje), og så er der en vej ude foran, som producerede meget larmende trafik fra morgenstunden, men ikke noget der ødelagde helhedsindtrykket. Vi fandt aldrig ud af hvordan det fungerede med morgenmad (men spurgte heller ikke). På informationssedlen på værelset blev der ikke nævnt noget om det, så vi tog til Næstved og spiste brunch - intet problem.

A staff member explained the technicalities: how to operate the skylights and curtains; heat water for coffee direct from the waterpipe and told us about local restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well in a room cooled with fresh air from the open skylights. We enjoyed the maritime location; bought home-made icecream at the bakery and enjoyed it whilst sitting beside the river and watching the passing boats. Very friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely make a return visit!

Reviewed By IngunnraarupWe were driving our rv and our app said it was for rv's. We go in to ask, its a B&B, our daughter got bitten by a dog off the owner, beware of the dogs. It's a visit garden as well, keep your children away. Looks nice though but a rude owner and dangerous dogs.
