The hotel is kept in a pristine condition, it's hard to pick one particular thing - everywhere you go the staff run to help, starting from the reception desk, the guest relations staff, the waiters at the restaurant to the hardworking cleaners around the hotel. A huge thank you to chef Tamer Ahmed for delivering delicious food every time, especially at the Lebanese A La Carte restaurant. And a special thank you to manager Mohammad Gamal and his team of waiters, including Fawzy and Mohammed who were extremely welcoming and friendly. They never said no to anything, always kept a look out to make sure everything was provided and happy to assist with a smile. Also, a massive thank you to Victoria at guest relations for providing my daughter with a MiFi device to help her with her online exam. We were extremely worried about the WiFi connection for her exam but the hotel went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and there was no issues with the connection on that day. Last but not least, thank you to Omnia from guest relations who over looked our entire trip, she is an amazing person and a credit to the hotel. Thank you to the entire team at Alcazar for making our holiday a memorable one, we will definitely be coming back!

Reviewed By Toby EWe booked to stay here at very short notice after our skiing trip was cancelled - talk about contrasting holidays! My wife and I stayed here with our 4-year-old son. We arrived just before 9pm via the free transfer coach from the airport - which took forever to depart! We arrived very hungry as was glad to make it to the restaurant in time to scrap together some food before being taken to our room. Right from the when we arrived, to the day we left were greeted in a friendly, warm and welcoming manner by all the staff. We were given a room on the ground floor about halfway between the main hotel/restaurant complex and the beach - right by one of the pools. A great location as it wasn't too far from anywhere. The entire Jaz Mirabel complex is vast! The whole place was spotless with immaculate planting and gardens. First and foremost, we'd like to praise the main restaurant. We ate there for most of our meals, and we really enjoyed the range of food they had to offer. The staff were all friendly and the manager always stopped by to ensure we were happy. I even mentioned that the last time me and wife came to Egypt we had Om Ali (a traditional Egyptian pudding) and really liked it. And lo and behold, a couple of nights later their chefs had made some especially for us!!! I was blown away by this and it was just a beautiful tasting as I had remembered. Added to this, the quality of all the food was phenomenal. Especially the Egyptian food which I could not get enough of! The desserts were so pretty and loved the outdoor barbecue kitchen and what they had to offer - including fresh fish. Most of the pools were a little cold so we enjoyed the couple of heated ones they had. They were fun. The waterslides were hard to find, and I feel the signage could be improved to help guests to find them. But once we found them, we spent many a happy hour there. For a few days we left our son at their kid’s club - which he loved! They're run by the same people who run the evening entertainment. They are super friendly and so enthusiastic. It was a nice cool place for him to be when it was too hot outside. And at no extra cost it was a great way for mummy and daddy to do their own thing for a few hours a day! Amazing! The evening entertainment in the amphitheatre was great fun for the whole family. It's great that it starts with a kids disco on stage to get them involved. It was so fun to watch, and all the dancers/entertainers were brilliant and really friendly to talk to when they weren't entertaining. They even got in a few guest entertainers from elsewhere who were really good - especially the belly dancer and the gigantic inflatable panda! Very memorable. The beach itself was nice and there was a small reef nearby we could explore, It was our 4-year old's first time snorkelling and it was a great place to start. The water in the gulf was nice and calm. We took an excursion to the Red Sea for snorkelling but unfortunately the waters were really rough, and we could swim to just one of the three reefs that day. Still, it was a nice day out and the food served on the boat was good. And a special thanks to Mahmoud who tended to our son when mummy and daddy went to snorkel whilst he stayed on the boat. Our boy was also sick in the minibus on the way to the boat - it was quite a long and bumpy journey for someone his age! I booked to go parasailing via one of the agents who go around the complex. I got a good deal. It was my first time doing this and had a good time. All in all, we had an excellent time there. My only complaint was that the AC in room was quite noisy and that the room layout is somewhat strange. There's a clunky sliding door which separates the master bedroom from the child's sleeping area and you have to go past it to get to the bathroom. Luckily, he was so tired that we didn't wake him when we needed the bathroom! It would also be nice to have more wardrobe space or somewhere else to store open suitcases. And a real bed for children would’ve been nice instead of a hard mattress on a concrete seat. Also, I wish there more flights to and from Sharm el-Sheikh and London. The night flight on the way home was too late. Still, it won't put us off from returning. Can't wait to go back. We only stayed for one week and will make sure we book two weeks next time. Thanks again to all the staff there. Especially the restaurant staff!

Always managed to find something to eat which was great for my fussy eating family. Found the trips were a little over priced at the hotel so booked with Nabq tours which is located just over the road from the hotel. Elvis was very helpful. Did a great first dive with them on the boat as well as a awesome safari. All in all a great holiday

Reviewed By Sam_Thu_ManA very good Hotel with exceptional staff and a Stella water park. We were a family of 2 Adults, 2 Children (stayed in room 5228 for mngt reference). Top marks to Gym an Staff. A little shame that the Sauna wasn't that hot and steam room out if action at the Spa, but the Turkush hammam and massage were good. Food variety at the Buffet was decent and tasty, perhaps not on par with what I've had in Turkey though. Improvements: better Internet connection is required! Also for visitors be mindful that mosquitos are plentiful at the Sharm, perhaps management could offer spray bottles to guests. Our cleaner was excellent though brilliant El- Hassan I think. Top marks to him.
