Came here for a "family" meal for 6 adults.
Staff were very friendly and food was excellent.
It is always a good sign when they can make slight alterations to items on the menu at request.
We were worried about parking beforehand, however there appeared to be adequate street parking around - we had no problem finding a space.
Only point of concern was that they were very happy pouring out additional glasses of (good house) wine but not as good in looking after the non-drinkers in the party!
Will look for an opportunity to eat here again in the future.

Had a chateaubriand for 2 and a desert. Very positively surprised given that the Le Beau Geste is in this mall town: meat was spot on, super tender, quality level of high class steak restaurants. Service very nice and at cause.
Relaxed atmosphere, cosy, bistro-style. Reasonable pricing (~€ 60 for two persons for chateaubriand, water and wine, one desert)
Bottom line: if you are looking for an easy but really good restaurant in Huizen, this can be your place.

A at best medium restaurant in Naarden vesting in its self a nice location with a nice garden terras for sunny days. Unfortunately both food and service can be described as below average . Service is slow and food is not what you would expect . Fish was not fresh and tasted like it had been reheated a disappointment

Forget about the location, on a busy road, coz when you step inside, you enter a contemporary restaurant with nice dimmed lights. The level of Chinese food in The Netherlands is mostly experienced as 'fast food wok', but here they rise way above this level. Newish kind of dishes, that look like small modest paintings and marvellous taste. All of this goes with staff members that are super attentive and friendly but never intrusive.

De Gasterij has been around for a long time. The quality of the food has always been good and the prices are very reasonable.
Perhaps the best quality of De Gasterij is the service. Friendly, knowledgeable, and above all making you feel at home.
There is a small terras so wheather allowing you can enjoy lunch or dinner outside.

No surprises and that is something you would expect. But the food is good and well prepared. Nicely served, nevertheless I did not manage to catch one smile on the servants faces. Neither did my three guests. We were fine, but were they?

A really excellent meal in a gorgeous waterside restaurant, great staff, really friendly and pleasantly informal with excellent service, what more could you want? Well, definitely the best fillet steak I've eaten for a long while and my partner's hake was beautiful, full of flavour and we'd eat the meal all over again if we could. The setting right on the water's edge made the entire experience complete

Enviable position right next the canal bridge where you can sit and enjoy a nice meal with an exceptional view. Enjoyed the smoked mackerel salad. Oude kaas made for a great snack. Service was good. One of the nicer spots we saw while walking around town.

My second visit to Soigné proved my first wasn't a one-off. A really special March birthday meal was followed by a very special retirement celebration with friends and family. The flavours and textures are beyond description, particularly when matched with the wine pairing. So special and so delicious!

Our Dutch hosts choose this restaurant for a special last night dinner, and an excellent choice it was.
The food was very good; the wine was excellent, and the service friendly. Our host did explain that the slow service is all part of the typical Dutch experience - we had learned that already in other restaurants.
It's not the cheapest - Euros 244.00 including about 12% service (not added on to the bill automatically) for four excellent meals with coffees or teas, and a very good bottle of white wine.
And the surroundings are very pleasant - view over fields with cattle grazing; heather and woods - bit like Scotland wi' nae braes (translation: no hills/flat as a Dutch pancake).
