So, I have never in the history of ever like chicken salad. I'm funny about how the chicken most times tastes boiled or it's canned chicken. Gross!!! Stopped for lunch today and got a chicken salad with pistachios and basil pesto. It was the best chicken salad I have ever had. The chicken tasted like it had been baked today. It wasn't basil pesto, but basil leaves on the bread...still very good.....yum! My husband had buffalo on a croissant. It was perfection!
Very clean. Friendly service. Comfortable atmosphere. It is a great addition to this town and I'm glad they are here. Wish they were open longer because I would go get another sandwhich for dinner!!! I will be back.

I've been going to this Donut Shop since it opened in the late 90s. It's a fave of mine and now of my children. We come in so frequently the owner knows our order. Great donuts and great value. Come early on the weekends or call in your order a few days in advance.

We are glad to have this restaurant because the choices are so limited but you really never know if the service is going to be good or not. Sometimes it's fine and other times you can clearly tell the workers don't want to be there. The blizzards are lacking because they skimp on the candy so when we want a blizzard we drive to another DQ like the one in Shepherdsville.

I've been twice since they opened earlier this month and had the pizza the first time which was delicious and pasta the second time which was also delicious. It's small inside but they have a lot of outside seating available. Wish the parking lot could be bigger. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They have TVs and free wifi which is a plus especially with kids. I'll definitely be heading back for more good food soon!!!

Breakfast is the best meal of the day, for me anyway. A group of neighbors decided to go to breakfast on a weekday morning at Mt Washington County Diner.
Meals are reasonably priced. Coffee refills kept our mugs full throughout the meal. Service was very good. Plan to return in the future.

El Nopal is a go to place each time I'm in Mount Washington. My mom loves the chicken tortilla soup, I love the chili rellenos. The chips come to the table hot, fresh and fast. Servers are very attentive, even remembering me from when I was previously in town visiting family.

There aren't many option in Mt. Washington, which is why I have given this place more than once to get it right with me. The last time I ordered food from there (to go) it was not cooked and I wasted $20 on food I couldn't eat. This time I went in for lunch and ordered a grilled chicken salad. I was annoyed by the flies, but it is to be expected since it is late in the summer and bugs are bad. However, what I didn't expect was to have a moving bug in my food! I saw it immediately and sent it back. My server brought me a "fresh salad" minutes later, so I'm not certain she was telling the truth. I had lost my appetite and was not hungry at that point. I was shocked that my food was not free due to the extra time waiting and the disturbing sight of a bug in my food.

Seated right away with immediate service. Waitress kept drinks filled and checked on us regularly. Food came in a timely manner. Pulled pork grilled cheese was amazing. My husband said his burger was good. We'll be back.
