Went to Sortie last night (Thursday) for a friends 50th birthday. There was 9 of us in total and on arrival we was warmly greeted. All night the service was superb. The staff were friendly, smiling, professional and very attentive. The bread and dips were lovely and my main course of the chicken stew was beautiful. All the food was presented well and all plates around the table were empty!! My wine was ice cold which is how I like it!! They brought over a complimentary cake for my friend which was a lovely little touch. I will definitely return here. Thank you very much for your positive feedback about your visit at Sortie Grill & Bar. I am very delighted to hear that you enjoyed our food and the service there. So I went yesterday and I cut through my chicken cube and found a hair, the restaurant apologised but nothing else was done. Quiet shocking and totally would not record anyone else to go here as thereâs no hygiene. God knows how many hairs there was, no flavour in the lamachun! After finding the hair we was still made to pay, you would of thought the two soft drinks would of been complimentary but no. I would defy anyone to find a cafe/restuarant which gives better value for money.set in Harrow lodge park overlooking the boating lake,family run,- excellent service prices are exceptionally competetive have frequented this establishment on a regular basis and have never had a bad meal varied meals Sunday roast lamb beef chicken or pork served daily various omelettes including Spanish and fish meals also kiddies menu available

The restaurant itself has been tastefully refurbed and is very clean and visually very appealing both inside and out. We visited early sunday evening and the server was very efficient and friendly initially although as they got busier they seemed to be struggling to cope maybe they were short staffed? Had to ask three times for coffee ordered.. The lamb shish was nice and tender however at 20 pounds for what was essentially 9 cubes of meat and salad and a timbale of rice i would expect it to be of good quality. All the food was of good quality and served on nice crockery. However the prices for most of the dishes are somewhat high bearing in mind there isnt a lot of actual skill involved. In their execution.. But the meat was good quality as said. Good atmosphere and staff did try hard.

Went for late lunch with family and got seated quickly.Staff very polite and great service.Open cooking area as you enter and see your food being bbqFood was ok but I felt it Adana kebab was bit tough.you get free bread and the usuals sauces as much as you need.A bit more expensive than other Turkish restaurants Iâve been to.Interior nice and I think I will back to try more food soon.Restaurant is located walking distance from Romford station.Dear Customer, Thank you for your lovely comment, we are glad that you were satisfied with the food and the service. We were a party of 6 and all food served was beautiful! In the current climate where there are now so many Turkish eateries to chose from the Kervan is our new favourite. Service was good although it did seem that they wind down and close fairly early on bearing in mind it was Saturday night, we were told that we could only have one more drink when having after dinner liquers but this would not stop us returning.Dear Jo G, Thank you for this smashing review. I've eaten here a few times, the most recent being Valentine's Day.The restaurant has a lovely feel with a ceiling full of colourful lanterns.Despite it being a popular evening the service, as ever, was excellent and the food fresh and hot. When you arrive, you receive a bowl of Turkish salad, with Turkish pide (flat bread) which is warm and delicious. For mains we went for the house special for two which includes rice, chicken wings, ribs, loads of different kebab meat (chicken and lamb), and lamb chops - so much we couldn't finish it, so took it time with us!!Will definitely be back.

Had the best night in lefke i hired the whole restaurant for my 30th birthday party Christian was brilliant helping me organise everything how I wanted it and making sure everything was run smoothly on the night so I didnât have to stress about anything all 60 of my guests said how lovely the food was and how lovely all the staff were. The belly dancer was amazing my little boy is a little bit in love with her she is stunning. Then the dj played the best mixture of tunes he had the whole party up dancing all night canât wait to come back again. I will definitely hire it out again Aswell. Amazing restaurant
