Written reviews for this place before and maybe I'll keep doing it, because it's sooo good.Had the chili basil with seafood, seafood not over cooked as it is in so many dishes like this and there was plenty of it, med large shrimps, large scallops that were perfect and squid. I had it Thai hot so plenty of steam. Had the Som Tom also Thai hot, that was hot, had me sweating but sooo good. The meal was just right. This is as close to Bangkok food as I've had in the US. THIS IS GOOD! Can't wait to get back again

We always frequented the Tara Thai in Vienna, Va. until it moved to Herndon. This restaurant has great ambiance......wonderful people to serve you......and most of all FRESH THAI FOOD! They have a Happy Hour 4-7 which is fabulous and their menu has many offerings. My husband had the Shrimp fried rice tonight and it was delicious and HUGE! I had the chicken pad tai and it was lovely. We both have dinner for tomorrow night! The owner is very sweet (remembered me from the other venue) after 3 years! Love that this is a family run business that takes pride in their restaurant!!!! They also have great lunch specials.

A friend brought me here raving about the Crispy Thai Basil Duck. Fantastic! Really, truly fantastic! Supposedly takes 2 weeks to make. I believe it, so full of flavor, so tender, so juicy, Oh yeah! Best Duck ever, anywhere. Great Service. Fair prices, can't go wrong here. Way better than any of the overprice formulatic restaurants in Reston Town center. And you won't get a parking ticket either.

My lovely wife and I had lunch. I had Panang Curry and she had crispy duck. Both were excellent and for her, she asked for spicy and received it. The food is authentic. Serviced is nice. Nunu is very active and friendly with his customers.

Staff is always super friendly, and their food is delicious. My friends swear they serve the best Duck, but I prefer their Panang Curry Chicken and their Pad Thai. Their Pad Thai is the best in the entire area. Their Kanoom is fabulous with bits of crunchy garlic and the sauce is great. Don't miss it.

I have always been a big fan of Sense of Thai. The custom cocktails are still awesome but the food has not been as good my last couple of visits. The food is not bad but not up to previous standards. The service has always been slow but I overlooked that aspect because of the food and drinks. Unfortunately based upon my last few visits I have dropped my rating to average. Hopefully my rating will go back up but I am taking a break for now.

We had a Saturday night reservation. By the time we left, the restaurant was packed. This is the only Big Bowl outside of Illinois and Minnesota. Service was punctual. Mai tais were very good($12). Chicken satay and veggie potstickers were excellent. The shrimp pad Thai serving was big and delicious. The Bangkok shrimp and scallops entree is definitely something I would order again. Itâs a member of LEYE. Just remember you canât get dinner points on Saturday nights.
